[ROM] DNA_GB 3.3.3 V21E base with tweaks for performance [/5/5/2012]

Hi guys,
Please help me out here.
After installing the titan kernel 0.5 the wifi of my phone no longer works. I reinstall the rom again doing the wipes except the factory one and the wife is very unstable. It connects and disconnets every second.
What do you recommend?

I want your wife

On Topic, I can't download anything with stock kernel, I'm always loosing connection. I wiped everything before installation. Download always stop after few megabytes, sometimes it continues, sometimes can't resume (depends from server). This happens on every network where I used phone (home, work, cafes...)
Otherwise best rom i ever tried for this great phone.

I have not had this problem with the wifi or downloading so i really can't help you there. But the thing you can do is go into cwm and just wipe cache and dalvik cache that should resolve a few problems.. Also if that does not help go to cwm and fix permissions...

Hi.

On screenshots there is a nice blue theme, with blue notification icons. I have green ones like standard gingerbread lg. Is there some another theme with this blue battery percentage icon?

In the OP i see only dna_theme_v1 link. Where I can find theme v2 ?

Or is the ROM already themed, and theme gb v1 is the stock gingerbread theme ?

I applied the theme just after the ROM

Btw: you mentioned that dna ROM v1 is faster (without the smoothness tweak). You are more happy with v1?

So far a great ROM, thanks for this excellent work.

So far a great ROM, thanks for this excellent work.

Dna 2.0 is themed like the pictures and v1 theme was uploaded because some one requested it and i don't have time to upload it i am working on a project right now..

I flashed the ROM again and in some apps the status bar is grey , not black.

and the problem is? you opened a white background app and my status bar is transparent so when see through plus white make grey not a problem.. also if you want to customize the theme to your liking. Pull out the systemui and framework res apks and go to uot make your theme upload the two apk's after you customized everything to your liking and wait till its done..

Rom works nicely with ginger bestia v3 kernel by accura (1,3 GHz + version). Nice kernel. Smooth and battery saving IMO.

I installed your ROM for review purposes for an article on my portal and it seems very good so far.

Only two problems I got is:

1) I dl'ed your nice theme and flashed it - but it doesn't work (?)

2) I kinda need Google Talk quite a lot

And a minor suggestion:

How about making a script post-install where one can select the LG-Apps and GApps one needs and ditch the rest?

If the theme don't work for you it's your problem not mine as it works for me.. You use google talk ever heard of the play market? Ever heard of gapps? Ever heard of google?

No need to go into "noob mode" mate tyvm ;-) GPlay doesn't contain GTalk anymore.

You can always edit the theme in UOT kitchen just open my Rom's zip folder and go to apps take out the systemUI.apk and then go to Framework and take out the Framework-res.apk.. Use these two files to edit the themes in uot kitchen to your liking..

I really do want to release the 20G firmware but you won't have any kernels that will work with it.. I did attempt to make a hybrid version of 20G and called it 21G May-1-2012 lol.. But everything works flawlessly as i have mixed 21D and 20G you can even use 21D kernels, also the battery stats is fixed.. But the problem i am facing is every time you connect your usb the status bar crashes and you can't get it back without a hot reboot and the usb mas storage doesn't work.. I tried to fix it but i give up for now..
