Great find! This works flawlessly on my N5, N7 (2013) and N10.

Be sure to give respects to the creator guys, all i did is repost it here, its not flashable, you just replace it with the bootanimation.zip in /system/media, make sure its named bootanimation.zip, then change the permissions to match all the other files in system.

Edit: and im not sure about what cm11 animation your talking about. I suppose you could pull it out of a cm rom
