We don't use CM7, so we don't have the SOD issue.

I've used the alarm clock probably a dozen times or so on GV 1.3, and I haven't had a problem with it. You should be safe.

MT...some feedback with the overclocking kernal on my revo (GV1.3):

- Intermittently, when rebooting with charger plugged in, causes another reboot
- Running Linpack multicore bench causes reboot
- Running some java NWS radar loops on Dolphin browser causes reboot
- Random reboots on games like Words with Friends

Maybe my processor can't handle the overclock at the set voltage as well as others, but it seems like it could use a small voltage bump...

Can I adjust that or is it hardcoded?

Thanks...

MT is the new gingervolt going to have I/O schedule to noop? That's what seems like you did on your phone w high read/write speed.

Is it possible to set it to deadline?

I believe I have decided to run noop as default, but have enabled deadline and added vr.

Made the jump and loving it so far. Very nice work. Only thing I noticed that I don't dig is that I have my alarm set and no clock icon in the status bar. Please let me know if there is a setting I missed or something. It would be much appreciated as I don't want to knock this ROM. It looks nice

Wow so we have an oc kernel now? Can we run it at the standard speed and use the lower voltage to save battery instead? Looking for any way to not use my extended battery. It's so fat and not in a good way lol.

Yes there is an oc kernel. It's awesome. Been using setcpu to underclock and overclock now. It is in testing right now.

Just to give an update guys, I have finally begun working on zv8 last night! I was in the middle of another project but finished it up now! I will be heading to the mountains for the weekend with family but I'm sure I will get some work in there, just no internet access lol. The other project has helped me learn a bit more and I will be able to apply it here!

thx for all your work mt.

quick question, just updated to GB and rooted. now how do I get clockwork back on the revo? can I still use the revotoolkit the cubed made.... I remember reading a posting of someone running into issues doing it that way but can't seem to find it now.

Yes, use Revotoolkit to install recovery. After installing, hit the check recovery version, it should be 4.0.0.2 or something like that. Then reboot into recovery.

Hello all!!! After a long 3 months, GingerVolt 2.0 is here!!!! There were MANY changes and things that I played with to get things how I liked them. Honestly, I put in the Change Log what I remembered, and will add to it as I remember the rest lol.

It is recommended to install after a complete wipe, as some apps were updated, and some were removed. I don't want to here any complaints about things force closing, battery is being drained, etc, unless a data wipe has been done. I also do not recommend using TB, etc as it can restore bad data. That is just me, and my opinions on it. Hope you enjoy!!!

P.s.: Over the last 3 days, my battery life has been AMAZING!!! They were 16hrs, 17hrs, and 22hrs. Results may vary, but that is what I have gotten.
