tried installed and it created an ID but service is not available.

yeah it wont go further ,they have not given access to all users ..onl those who are whitelisted
we need to wait till wednesday ..that is when it is rumored to be released at a bb event

Guys, read the Android Central post linked in the OP.
The app is still in beta, so you cannot login unless you have been whitelisted.
Stop trying. You won't get access until it's officially released.

Friday, Sept 20th, 7am EST: Android version published on Google Play
Friday, Sept 20th, 7am EST: BBM.com goes live
Friday, Sept 20th, 7am EST: CRM messages sent out to pre-registrants
Friday, Sept 20th, 7am EST: Follow-up CRM message sent out after full App Store deployment
Saturday, Sept 21st: BBM on iOS becomes available 12:01am EST in local time zones. ( not like we care )

Samsung is not getting any exclusivity for the app .. it has been confirmed by blackberry

The wait is literally killing me. I met my girlfriend of two years through BBM back when I had a Lackberry. We have both said how great it would be to go back to the way the first spoke, texting isn't the same. We loved BBM and it's easy interface, easy picture sharing, voice notes and such. She lives about an hour away from me on the train and is shortly going to university in Norwich, nearly 4 hours away from me (second year when she is out of halls on campus I will move up there) So a reliable way to talk to one another with the feature we enjoy, aside from Skype, is crucial to us more now than ever.
