Anyone experiencing small graphic issues? There minimal in the sense of how often but it is something noticeable which I start bugging about cause "its not supposed to do that"

Edit:nvm. My bad guys.

Hardly....we use different props and kernel configuration than most other aosp ROMs which have far worse GPU/display aliasing issues than ours....a little glitchy? Yeah, but the keyboard never derps out and 99% of the time.the CRT ani is smooth aswell as normal ui tasks and gaming....

BT for phone still has lots of static.

Thanks for the info. I know that there's been a number of logs posted in the CM10.1 thread about BT but I haven't followed lately on if there's been any progress in fixing the issues. Hopefully it'll get fixed in due time then I'll jump over to using AOSP based ROMs. Beans ROMs have been holding me over nicely until then.

My usage is high but I've gotten the best battery life out of any ROM I've tried!

When bt gets fixed I'll have to try this rom out... I saw someone post a 21.5k antutu... That alone will take me away from multi Window mod...

+1. I haven't had to make any tweaks or kernel changes. Battery is a beast its not even a concern of mines. Going on 10 hours with 80%. 30 mins screen time. Call Volume is sooooooo much better. Thank you.

Edit: This is the longest I've been on an Aosp ROM so far

Hint: use ondemand gov with sio scheduler and force non boot CPUs...OC as high as you can while still remaining stable...(my phone can do 2.0 GHz stable) the phones that don't tolerate OC as well are usually well stable @ 1800...hope this helps ondemand/sio FTW!

Nice, thanks for the tip. My phone will sometimes run 2.0 but generally stable at 1.92. Here's the screen shot running at the recommended settings.

I found that to be the case as well. I upped the voltage on 2k mhz and then it was stable...... Alas I have returned to clean rom because I can't function without clear bluetooth..... I hope it's fixed soon.

Does a 64gb SD card work with this ROM? I heard it doesn't on cm and haven't used an aosp ROM in a while!
Thanks

    About Carbon

CarbonRom is an aftermarket firmware based on the Android Open Source Project. We are dedicated to fast, stable, and feature-filled roms, honesty and communication with our users, and openness with our code. We like frequent builds, with the very latest and greatest hardware support and fixes. We strive to not only provide you with the best rom we can build, but also to give back to the Android community and our fellow developers. For us, this is about creating something we can be proud of and hope you will enjoy.

Please feel free to look at, build, and use our code on CarbonDev GitHub.

We would like to thank CyanogenMod for their device trees, framework/settings mods and their code that was incorporated into this project. We also extend our gratitude to the devs whose code that we have incorporated. Proper authorship has been maintained and can be viewed on our repository.

Special thanks also go to Slim Rom for some of their features, PA, AOKP, and anyone else we may have borrowed commits from that hasn't been mentioned here. If you feel you have been unfairly left out, please - let us know.

While we make every effort to test these builds as much as possible, we are not responsible for anything that may happen to your device, family, pets, or perception of reality. We ask that you do your part to know your device and know how to recover from problems before you flash! If you have questions, ask your fellow users or ask us in #teamcarbon on freenode IRC.

    Features
Simply stated, we can't really list features here. There are too many and they change too frequently, and we now support a truly insane number of devices. Chances are, if you like a feature, we have it already. Seriously.

Join us on these Social Media Channels to keep yourself up-to-date on all the latest Carbon news, updates, contests, and more! Join our completely open Google+ community for insider conversation with devs and other users.

    Download Carbon

All Carbon downloads and further information such as features, changelog, and FAQ can be found on our goo.im page.

Both nightly and release builds are available. Please note that nightlies are for development purposes. This means that they may not work properly, may not flash, may not build for days at a time, and will probably eat your cat. If you flash these, know what you're doing, have backups, and don't complain when something happens. It's on you!

For a detailed changelog, check out the changes made each night here:

You can also find a changelog in Settings->Carbon->About Carbon

    Support

We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:

    1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.

    2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our goo.im page linked above. It's new, but expanding fast. Just like us!

    3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.

    4) Join our G+ Community: http://community.carbon-rom.com This is where we spend the bulk of our time and the best way to reach us and other community members. We update and frequent this community far more than XDA, simply due to time constraints and the convenience of G+.

    5) Ask a question on our IRC channel. Connect to #teamcarbon on irc.freenode.net or click here. You'll find several other Carbon fans and usually one or more devs as well. Please be polite.

Remember, every penny you send to us goes right back into the rom. It's used for hardware, server costs, etc - all the things that help us make Carbon better with every release. Your support means the world to us! If you've enjoyed Carbon, please consider a donation toward this goal. Thank you, and we hope you continue to enjoy Carbon!

Is it disrespectful if it's true?

There's 50 AOSP ROMs for this phone and rather than fix the bugs still inherent to CM it seems the "developers" just pile their crap on top.

All these ROMs are going to be great- once CM gets all the bugs worked out for them.

Sorry but you are very ignorant to the way Open Source and the way AOSP works on the backend. This fanboy and disrespectful statement displays that on many levels.

Most work in all ROM's including CM, AOKP whatever you name it, share mostly the same code. That codebase is AOSP (Android Open Source Project).. Beyond that is fixes put in place by the vendors which developers then pick from their gerrit and git repos.. This last thing happens to be what CM is very very good at. So with many of the needed vendor fixes already in CM it is much easier to start from that as a baseline. Especially when you are try to get a new phone working.

Beyond the original codebase and the vendor fixes are patches and fixes put in place by the community. This is not meant as disrespect to CM, that project has a lot of very talented developers and are an asset to the community. But many of the fixes you are implying to are found fixed then submitted to CM's gerrit by non CM developers.

While many of the AOSP ROM's released might not have the impact that CM does they defiantly provide fixes that make their way to your phone.

Adding i605 to jb3 manifest tonight. You guys should have a 4.3 build tomorrow.

You should thank the Liquid smooth project for the base as you guys just forked the old project into yours and added a few things. Im not trying to start trouble its just bad edicate. This is the one and only comment i am making. but you need to do the right thing, bad blood or not.

we did a lot more than that, actually. anyway, the OP does clearly state that we're formerly of team liquid and that this is a fork.
    11
Yeah most asop roms = broken bluetooth I'm sure these guys didn't fix it or any of the other known issues. Cm 10 has many bugs depending on the device and developers behind the rom. S3 bluetooth is working so maybe they can get it working fully and properly on the note 2
I don't think any of the devs working on this rom even own a VZW note2 so have fun fixing.

Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2

Well I have a VZW Note 2 so does Slick_Rick.. but really it doesn't matter if it's VZW or SPR or any other Note 2 version.. They all use the exact same SOC with some using different radio's.

    Nocoast has the TMO version
and I believe that Morfic just got one as well

regardless stop trolling and spreading fud... if you have nothing to say other than to ***** do it some place else
