[DFT Freedom ROM] Mango 7720 Custom ROM for HTC WP7 First Generation

proudly presents Frist Mango 7720 Build Custom ROM for HTC WP7 First Generation

This is First Fully unlocked Custom ROM for all HTC operator devices which support by RSPL/HSPL operator,you can flash any time after you install our RSPL/HSPL.

This release [DFT Freedom ROM] supports 22 languages(one USA_CHT_CHS_JPN_KOR rom and one 18 langs(USA_ENG_FRA_ITA_GER_ESN_NLD_DAN_FIN_NOR_SVE_PTB_PTG_RUS_ELL_HUN_CSY_PLK)in one rom which is

1)USA_CHT_CHS_JPN_KOR,
2)USA_ENG_FRA_ITA_GER_ESN_NLD_DAN_FIN_NOR_SVE_PTB_PTG_RUS_ELL_HUN_CSY_PLK.

This release supports this [DFT Freedom ROM] devices:

*Gold (HTC Pro 7,T7575)
*Mozart (HD3,T8697,T8698,T8699)
*Mondrian (Surround,T8788)
*Spark (Trophy,T8686)
*Schubert (HD7, T9292,T9295,T9296)

This [DFT Freedom ROM] cooked with Mango 7720 build and remove some of operator's(T-Mobile,AT&T,Telstra) own apps just left HTC apps.

This ROM full unlocked with DFT_XAPInsatller this ROM real Freedom ROM which can install any XAP via device's IE which avaliable for Mango build.

Please note this ROM WILL NOT update new version of OS via Zune , we are working on this before we done will contiune release new version of Mango if we can get it.

Default IE homepage is xda-developers forum.
Added DFT & XDA sites to IE favorites.

ROMs are FullUnlocked. This means that you can install custom XAPs from computer and a bit more!
More information comes soon.

Ability to install XAP files from WP IE without PC.
You need just enter URL to XAP file and it will download and install it.
Note, the start and the end of installation signaled by sound beeps, no UI provided yet.
It's recomended to turn on sound before installing.

It's strongly prohibited to use stuffs from those ROMs for Two week after DFT release.

pls never post any details how we implemented something.

but i have a question:

can i change the wallpaper in start menu?

and i have a request:

if you add Arabic or Farsi(Persian) to this rom , it is very good
(because native didnt work on mango.)

@mwang can you confirm that this is based on the 7720.68 recently leaked or is it the 7720 RTM?

TouchXplorer stopped showing folders?

cant send *.cab's because of missing certificates to the device?

htc apps missing?

i got a qn what does the Set AutoData do?

has it go anything to do with better battery life?

Does this ROM include the Tethering option shown on various WP7 blogs?

Also, could you provide a XAP for the Mango-enabled Slacker? I assume it's included on the T-Mobile ROM and it's not in the Marketplace any more.

Thank you DFT!

But i have found a problem. It's not possible anymore to debug Apps by using Visual Studio 2010.
The error message is:

0x80040202

"The application could not be launched for debugging. Ensure that the target device screen is unlocked and that the application is installed."

The screen is unlocked of course.

    after two weeks nobody stops you from reusing components (with description and link to original DFT stufs)
    if we wanted to protect something, we had to do it much more better ways :D

    and it's right. during this two weeks we can collect proper feedback on our changes inside those ROMs. and maybe move forward / fix issues.

    otherwise it's stupid: we release -> others copied stuffs to their roms -> on the second day everybody found that "A not working, B buggy and C laggy". and all those roms are become ****ty. As well we not able to get any proper feedback, because nobody knows which combinations every rom has.

    As well current situation shows right of this: people got some issues with FullUnlock. so we need try to fix it.
    When all will work, we may release parts of this roms in the separate threads, like DFT XAPInstaller, FullUnlock and etc.
    But I don't know will they work outside of ROM.

    bluetooth send and recieve features need to be added by the device manufacturers the other thing like vpn and so on i don't know. Fullunlock don't have negative effects just some games dont work anymore and app debugging don't work.
