Flashed dsmk6 v1.75 last night and today it is saying that it is downloading an update. I have device management downloading software update please do not shut down in my notifications.

Is there a way to stop it? Will it actually try to install it? Is it going to mess anything up?

Edit: seems to go away when I take it off of WiFi. Don't want to ruin anything, but would like to use WiFi.....

Edit 2: it finished the download and I postponed it. Still have the notification. Scared it'll update itself and screw up

Edit 3: flashed v2. Notification still hanging on :(

Edit 4: uninstalled att update service with Titanium Backup. Seems to have resolved the issue for now. Thanks again for the ROM

Good deal... Yeah this version is 2 behind the current ATT load that is out. It will prompt for update if you reflash.

I have the NE5 and NJ1 ROMs out that will take you to 4.4

    Recommended Install Instructions

    CWM Flash .zip extension


    - Do a nandroid backup (Your call)
    - Copy rom zip file to external sd card
    - Reboot into TWRP recovery and do the following:
    - Wipe/Advance Wipe
    *Dalvik Cache
    *Cache
    *System
    *Data
    *Internal Storage (Hope you did your backup .....)
    - Install DS-MK6v1.75.zip
    - Then reboot your phone

    Wait a couple of minutes to let network connections complete, then setup accounts.

    ANIMATION TRANSITION:
    Too add little more speed and smoothness on the transition can change these settings.
    - Go to System Settings then tap About Device.
    - Touch Build Number until it says Developers Options Enabled

    Alrighty then, As I promised Update 2.0 Sorry it took so long.

    I've been beating the hell out of it so there should be no issues.

    I unplugged last night at 100%, left it on my desk and 9:30 hours later it was at 94%. Added a few things. Check out the Changelog on OP page Post #1. You can't miss it. On the bottom in big fricking font.

    I'll be around tonight, but tomorrow is Mother's Day and I am taking care of the most wonderful woman in the world, mother of my daughters.

    She is my first girlfriend from high school, 1979. I blew it, we broke up and were apart for 18 years. We got back together in 1999, and have been married for 14 years.

    I am lucky enough to have found that one person in a million that you were meant to be with. I owe her my full attention tomorrow.

    I spent half the day Saturday researching what I had in my ROM, and searching to make sure I did what was required to give credit or ask permission.

    What I did see was "Press thanks if you liked it. It's the only way I know people like this except for comments."

    And I did, on May 10th.
