Hey!
I noticed that my galaxy s4 gt-i9505 display isn't as good as other s4's. I have compared it with others and mine isn't as bright and the colours are not as good as others. I have compared them at the lowest, maximum and even the automatic brightness and mine is alot worse.

I didn't notice this problem until i looked at a friends s4 and now it bothers me alot :)

Does anybody know what the problem might be?

Thanks for your help in advance!

I don't think so. I bought it new from the store. But if it would be a clone how could I check if it is?

Get your phone rooted and install cpu-z from google play. Check if your specs are correct. All the best. :)

Not sure why someone suggested you bought a fake S4 before asking the obvious....you've checked the screen mode in display settings yes?

Try to set device to "Adapt display" setting and then compare. Or set your device's screen exactly the same way your friends have. But I guess you have already done that...

You can also check IMEI number of your phone on this site:

For my device I'm getting this info:

Type Allocation Holder: Samsung
Mobile Equipment Type: Samsung GT-I9505 Galaxy S4
GSM Implementation Phase: 2/2+
IMEI Validity Assessment: Very likely

Information on range assignment

Est. Date of Range Issuance: Around Q4 2012
Reporting Body: British Approvals Board of Telecommunications (BABT)
Primary Market: Europe
Legal Basis for Allocation: EU R&TTE Directive
