Any chance off getting this on the 217s?

@gr8nole sorry i am contacting you in a non related thread but it seems i can`t message you but can you switch android version without factory reset?
Short answer would be NO, but there are always people who will try and it may even partially work depending on how different the versions are.
I do not recommend it though. Going from 4.1.2 to 4.2.2 without a full wipe may cause many issues related to the internal sdcard being mapped differently (changing the mapping in Philz recovery only changes it while using Philz recovery, not for the OS). Many other issues will probably arise as well due to the different versions.
Ok what should i format so i can flash back to android 4.1.2 without bootloop

Keep in mind that a factory reset with the newer custom recoveries will not erase the "data/media" where your internal sdcard is mapped. If you are on 4.2.2, then your internal card is mapped to data/media/0, but on 4.1.2 it is mapped to data/media.
If it were me, it would make a backup on PC of anything from data/media/0 that you want to keep; then I would do a factory reset AND then also choose the option to format data and data/media. This will get you back to a "new like" state and prevent any potential duplicates that may eat up space.
But in cmw i can switch sdcard target

I have not tried that, but I'm pretty sure that is only for recovery, not while booted into OS.
Ok so if i didn't format /data/media/0 (android 4.2.2) and flashed android 4.1.2 i would have /data/media/o and /data/media?

Yes.
You will also have the default folders such as 'Download', 'Media', 'Documents'...etc in both places, and the 4.1.2.rom will use the ones in the root of data/media.
So can i flash the 4.2.2 port then a 4.1.2 rom and have multiwindow because files will still be there just if i didn't format?

No, multiwindow feature of 4.2.2 is embedded in the system (framework, etc...) and will get wiped out when you flash the other rom.
Has this recovery stable now

6.16.2 looks much better, thank you.
We do have download mode, so an Odin version would be great.
On a side note, the Reboot to Download option does work.
I don't know how you keep up with so many different devices, but you do a great job.
