Didn't work. Crashes and bootloops at 2nd-init blue led, couldn't pull logcat.

Posting cwm zip with all the changes I've done so far. I put a ## commenting changes I did to make them easy to find, except for ueventd.rc, too many deletions to comment on.

Combined the two and didn't get anywhere either (provided all you did was add the 12 lines at the top).

And the kernel modules in the zip was something I did before going to bed, for no apparent reason other than I could...they really don't need to be there.

Thanks for your work.

You zip can not work. Setting permissions is missing in update script.

I'd add in permissions, but am unsure on the syntax. If you could provide a link or a simple description, I'd really appreciate it.

I'd like to know as well. All Defy MIUI V4's boot up with similar issues to MS2Ginger 3.0+ and I'd like to test new Greenbread mod with MIUI 4v. Actually, any rom based on MOTO GB 2.3.6+ won't boot on the Bravo, so if it does boot MS2Ginger 4.0, that ramdisk needs to be looked at for using with other roms.

Also, I accidentally did a Google search with quarx2k (I forgot to add .ru to go to the website) and apparently the Moto Cliq 2 runs Quarx's Defy CM7 like we used to (with a few mods to fix the hardware keyboard). Just thought that was interesting and was worth mentioning.

I have it completely booting up. No camere(expected), boot animation plays at 1fps, ui really laggy, no tethering, no button backlight.

I'm going to experiment with Bravo CM7 drivers to try and make it run smoother.

I used the 139-dfp-132.

replace files from greenbread with bravo froyo file. if it works well we can do a different way to make camera working.

edit build.prop for button backlight. it is set to 10%

Trying now. I had to restore cm7. Something I did caused it to stop booting up. I can tell you that /system/bin/mot_boot_mode needs to be replaced with the one from Quarx's Bravo CM7 20120410, probably usbd as well, I haven't been able to test that yet. mot_boot_mode was the first change I did and that made it boot, albeit very slowly. I only test roms on the primary nand and my phone is required for me to have internet, so if something goes wrong I have no internet to get help\new files\etc...I really need to instal an os on my laptop. Once I get new copies of the Greenbread mods (I forgot to make copies before I started editing them) I'll start round 2.

Big thanks for help. try to replace /lib/hw/gralloc.omap3.so for better performance

Just haven't done baseband yet. I'm trying one thing at a time, one file at a time. Takes longer, but its easier to find fixes that way.

Now have camcorder. Camera takes picture, but won't open 470k so its getting data. Still need to edit build.prop for camera anyways.

gralloc.omap3.so helped a bit, then I realized I forgot to adjust oc settings this time. Now it runs smooth and good.

Still no tethering or bootanimation. I'll experiment with 134-dfp-139 in a while since bootanimation worked with it, even if it was 1fps.

    HOW to INSTALL:

    Do not restore boot, devtree or logo from nandroid backup!

    To begin:
    1. Put the Nandroid backup folder MS2Ginger on the SDCard in this folder: /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup
    2. Put "GreenBreadBravo-4.5.3-DPP-14.zip" to the root of your sdcard

    Camera need some fixes.

    - replace /system/lib/libcamera.so with the file from Bravo CM7
    - replace camera wrapper /system/etc/mot_ise_imager_cfg.bin with Bravo CM7 file
    - replace /system/bin/battd with CM7 file


    If all work i will make a patch for the MS2Ginger 3.0 final.
