why bump. I said i will post another set of screenies. I wanted to have a slight rest like so please wait do not bump. The screenies you see on the OP is just the same as Beta 4 but B4 has smaller icons.

k....downloaded b4 yesterday and one word for it.....mind blowing!!!!
it was nice to see a drastic change for my wf having it than the usual ones...
the phone was running smooth but at night when i plugged my skullcandies ear phone icon came at status bar but the sound was coming from phone speaker and not from my earphones....i plugged it more than 5 times but same problem existed....
then i was messaging also same time.after above problem automatically torch app started running....i had not even opened it after installing this rom and torch app randomly started and closed.then after some time everything came to normal position but there was no sound to earphone.then at morning when i checked mobile it randomly booted.after reboot i plugged my ear phone same problem existed.
i checked my earphone by plugging into laptop and they worked.
i had overclocked wf to 633mhz.
hope u will rectify my problem....thank u...

In Beta 4 my battery drains too fast unlike in Beta 3 which was quite good..any suggestions? & the Music player issue is now fixed..its playing fine and loud.

Yes you can rest, im not saying that you must to post screenshots, there are more people using the rom, this people could post some screenshots....

The idea is to download the CM7 Devices HTC Buzz from source then using the above source to port to MIUI that way. It seems using two rom and porting via Zip is not good enough.

We know Wildfire can run MIUI Gingerbread and there is open sources which can be built from after porting it might even make translating and resizing even easier. So the question is what do you all think????

About the micode thing, it uses a precompiled rom, as stated here: https://github.com/MiCode/patchrom (README)
It basicly extracts from the rom what needs to be modded (using bak/smali, applying .patch to .smali files, and recompiling it)

They've released this pdf aswell, which details a bit better the whole process of patching, from finding a correct "suitable" rom to patch to how you should configure the makefile for building miui on this rom (IIRC, you've been dealing with issues patching Phone.apk, the pdf makes a relevant note about that (ps: remember phone.apk is NOT contacts.apk)

About finding the correct rom, since they've built most of their gingerbread miui BASED on CM, at least for the huawei honor and as we don't have a gingerbread official rom for our device, then it make sense (pun intended) we should base this rom on a CM 7.0 release (better than using 7.2, as the changes are mostly applications-sided between both source code)

Since we also knows they've used a CM rom for the Honor, using honor's makefile should be considered as the best choice, minor changes are to expect tho.

For the (upcoming) errors, I've seen a post about "correctly" using the miui micode stuff, you might want to copy not only the makefile, but the entire honor folder, and start putting the right files inside (honor folder includes a lot of pre-decompiled apk, including framework-res iirc)

Ps: one last thing about your actual way of porting things, a lot of problems related to framework-res.apk could be solved by using a HTC Legend framework-res.apk pre-patched for MIUI instead of the one from X10; buzz FR-res.apk is closer to the legend one than the X10mini, should fix (not sure tho) bugs related to light sensors, torch, and other small things.

Also those with the touch issue it happens when you screen is locked doesn't it.

If the screen locks and you press the home button the touch will switch on just press the home button again and touch goes off.

Will read the pdf tonight. Glad the sound and Music issue is fixed though. Use the Symp Kernel 3.5 that will solve the battery drain issue i was using 3.3 on the rom build.

Thanks for the info looking into this atm. Use Symps 3.5 Kernel for now i have been in the red on battery for the past 3 days and its still going strong.

Also i like to make it Clear to all. I am getting some PM's about this that and the other and how you want the final release out fast.

And here is my reply so to save you from PM'ing me stupid questions.

I work on this rom in my spare time i am not i repeat not a robot i can't just simply continue working day in day out on the rom.
I do have a live just like everyone else if you continue pestering i will simply give the community the one finger and stop the dev of the rom.

This might seem harsh to others that do not pester or are sending me messages about issue that i am grateful off but the stupid PM's can stop.

If you have a speed or battery issue flash symps 3.5 Kernel it works well, if your GPS is not working reflash the Radio.
If your language is not fully supported please wait there is more important issues to fix. If members can not except that then hardlines. Its no wonder why Wildfire Devs are so little in number. So give us some respect please and stop pestering!

I am aware of the issues and i am working on them in the free time i have.

didn't notice any black screen in settings, tough the settings are a bit of merged with cm which makes this looks so od

you ain't getting fully MIUI experience while CM is there, but still its great all features are there and fast too, about the icons yes they are a bit to small

I am having problems flashing beta 4, don't know if any issues because of my custom mtd partitions. Tried flashing alone, and with flashing partitions to get them back, the only result is white htc screen for 20 mins. Did a full wipe. Any suggestions?

Right thanks to the members that are helping out the other members with issues. Now hopefully this weekend i have a bit of spare time to start working via the GB MIUI Sources I.E starting from scratch basically lets see if this rom can be made stable enough and bug free enough to be classed as a good rom.

Now sorry for my last out burst i am having some problems at home i.e i'll relative and as such am up all night and day helping out.

How ever if i had enough cash or a donation of another Wildfire i can work on this more and more saves my phone having to be the dummy as now my phone needs to be online more then ever.

So if any one likes to donate a WF or anything please do so. Your not forced to do so no guns at heads or anything like that.

Now i am hoping with the reply i got with symp about the Hero will work wonders. I am currently recovering data from the laptop i am on to another laptop as Bad Sectors are on the drive, this is so i can continue with the Rom Dev'ing.

The rom isn't dead either before them posts come on. I am and still will work on MIUI GB.

i had the same problem with beta2 and first tried setting my mtds to 250 40 which i thought was 'reset' but still the problem persisted. so i reinstalled cwm 5.0.2.0 using a pc49img (link below) by (if you dont already know) putting zip containing img on root of sd card and booting into hboot, letting hboot read the image and asking if you want to install the image by pressing the volume up button or not by pressing the volume down button. press the volume up button and let it do its thing then reboot when prompted and your mtds will be reset and you'll have cwm 5.0.2.0

also when installing a new rom or nandroid back up you should reflash the 'bravo-boot-v1.5.3-CustomMTD.zip' used when setting mtds

Hello everyone, hack we all know porting roms can cause unexpected problems and for the people that don't, stop pm'ing him with pointless requests and comments and flash a stable rom not a wip (work in progress).

Edit: oh and I already class this as a good rom! The bugs are an added bonus, gives me something to do!

On a + note i think i've finally found a fix for the black on black text,well the third party app menus are all working fine for me now but i'll have to repack it into the stock theme again to test it and see if it causes any other problems. Another edit: maybe not, I changed my theme and all the menus worked fine but after I rebooted they went back to black on black.

I'm pretty sure we need to edit theme_values.xml to fix it, the black on black seems ok but I've now got white on white in the normal settings

however check out the gmini threads, bravo and siznek have some fixes for a few bugs.
