Does this always happen or only sometimes? What device are you using?

Im using Note 3 with TouchWiz based MIUI rom. Im using the latest of your app and the latest of Google Search. Accessibility keeps auto turning itself off so i have to say Note to self everytime. And yes, that happens every time.

Same for me, chat bot not working :(

This is quite strange... Does it say "Fetching response..." first or does it jump straight to this message? I'll do some testing on Touchwiz devices today to see if I can replicate this.

I had the same problem yesterday on my N4, but I figured it was cause the server was overworked...it is working today.

Yes this seems like this may have been the issue as I finished testing on a variety of phones (Galaxy Nexus, Note 2, Nexus 5, Moto G, Xoom Tablet) and they all worked fine. The other thing is that there may be a timeout exception involved so if you are still having an issue, please make sure your internet connection is strong.

I'm not seeing a crash log reported... When it crashes can you click Report so I can get a log?

The troll is real. This is the most useless "feature" siri has. If you're asking your phone to do something it should do it. It doesn't need a sarcastic attitude.

People are social. Talk to people.

Personally, I agree with you, but as it was the most voted feature, I thought I might as well go ahead with it :) At least with this implementation you only get the responses if you say "chat" before...

I think the best feature this mod offers but unfortunately it never works for me, I always get the same error that it can't interface with chatbot....

Thanks!
In my device, I have to say "note to self" every time before the command.
how its being determined if my device requires the "note to self"? can I change something to use it without the "note to self" before?

Thanks!

Just try to uncheck the "note to self" and it will bring you to the setup wizard where you can enable the accessibility service.

Unfortunately this is no longer possible with later versions of Android as they protect this setting from third-party apps. The only way to do this is using root solutions like the Secure Settings Plugin. I might eventually add the solution, but I would rather leave it to specialized plugins like this until I get some more features out...

Not exactly casue it's chain crash, Google now is crashing and I need to run again Google now and Commandr to works again. I have no idea this might happend.

Can you try turning off "return to previous app". If this still doesn't work can you try using an older version of Commandr like 2.2.

Everything is working fine for me except Tasker. I have activated the tasks in Commandr but nothing happens when I say the words?

Can you send me a screenshot of your Tasker configuration page and you entering the command into Google Now? It will allow me to validate that you are entering the command correctly. You can also try disabling and reenabling the accessibility service in the mean time.

Quick update on progress on removing requirement of "note to self" for root uses...

This was implemented successfully using MohammadAG's Google Now API, but unfortunately it seems that this api has many bugs and has to be updated for the new version of Google Search. As soon as this is updated (he is on vacation right now), I will add this functionality :) For now, rolling back changes...
