o Fixed Adobe Flash Player so works with Amazon Prime. Now loaded to /data for compatibility
o Updated Hosts file for adblocking option

o Updated SuperUser and binary to version 1.86

changed scheduler to SIO for Hunds based kernels and tcp congestion control to lp

o Tweaked vm settings in init.d scripts to see if it eliminates some lag

@elesbb Well it kind of works and it kind of doesn't. It doesn't FC and opens and reads epubs fine. What it does do now though is create 2 stub files for default.epub and default.png I checked through the smali code and can't see anything obvious. Also using your apk gui tools it decompiles fine with no errors but it won't compile properly. I notice in the original apk there are additional folders com and org that are not present when recompiled and it also complains of missing strings. Any chance you can take a look?

Those are just warnings. Doesn't stop the compilation process. And the lack of folders being present in the newly compiled apk is an apktool.jar bug not properly moving all files. Thats why I might unzip the original apk to a temp directory, then unzip the newly compiled one to another temp directory, and compare the contents and merge things missing then re-zip and sign it. But for now just clicking and dragging works

But as far as the apk, have you gone through the smali to see where it references those default books and removed the code?

Yeah there is a lot of smali in that apk. I tried looking but couldn't see anything obvious..... How do you debug smali? You must be an alien

@sbdags hey mate i just opened my tablet and by mistake i clicked the left touchpad button and the tab woke up, iv got the power save settings set so the dock shouldnt wake the tablet might that be the cause of the battery drain issue?

Don't think it's the cause but it is a symptom. Your tab is not sleeping.

Nope else I would have fixed it. Something stops the tab from entering deep sleep when docked. It does happen on stock Asus but it doesn't happen for everyone so there is hope. Have you tried the fix in the TF700 forums?

Nah, i just love modding apps that i download so i can get the best use from them. Plus knowing java/android helps a lot too. I love and hate smali

But i'll take a look once i get some down time.

There's only so much you can do with the cheap emmc that Asus used. That's why rom2sd works so much better for heavy io. Class 10 uhs-1 cards are dirt cheap these days. You don't need the extreme cards which are far more expensive as they don't work.

Voyager2k modded TWRP recovery

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but here goes. I have cromi installed on my TF201 and it`s running great. In my "wisdom", I decided that I would like to try the kitkat rom and installed the modded TWRP. Now, however, I have changed my mind and want to stay with cromi. Is the modded TWRP compatible or do I need to go back to the old TWRP? I would be very grateful for any feedback. Thanks.

You MUST go back to the TWRP you were using before.

Somewhere in this thread I heard the performance of the external sd-cards isnt very good in the tablet, and that there isnt a big improvement over just using internal memory.

Is that true, or do you get a noticeable faster tablet when you use Rom2SD ?
