Here's Linux Mint 16 audio theme if anyone wants to give it a go.
Well, it appears for these soundpacks to work, the original sounds have to be present. I usually delete most of the media files and some system apps before flashing a ROM so a lot of these sounds weren't working for me. So what I did was extract them to system/media/ui and set permissions, and that did it.

They are a tad loud, though. Otherwise, cool idea.

Are you running the latest OmniROM (today's nightly)? We merged it yesterday.

This is a cool idea...I own a recording studio and record mix and master music for a living but I have never messed with this type of thing. I want to try to make a few of these packs. If I'm reading correctly they just need to be installed in the system sounds folder?? Anything other special instructions I need??

Check the links in the first post. You have to create an xml file to correspond to the sound files, I think, and zip them up. And they have to be in ogg format.
