Worked for me on Motorola Defy running 2.2.1 /PaYs 5.1
Added:
-Circle Battery with gradients, white text
-Notification Bar in black(honeycomb stock)
-Pulldown in dark grey/bluetext mix
-Blue notification icons
-Status bar icons addon
Also it would be awesome if there where a few types of 'standard' iconsets for the statusbar that we could choose colours for- in a similar way to the battery

should work if your rom don't have *.odex files.
if not - try with battery mod only and on fresh rom install.
you don't need to select any files, just upload yours from your rom's zip (or the phone).
It works when I am on Continuum but not here..frustrating!!! It works for me and my rom was just going to do one for a buddy!!

Right now I'm on Darky 9.5 ROM (i9000) + StockMod Plus v1.0. I tried a lot of different combinations, but can't make it work. Right now I'm focusing on getting status bar colors, later I'll try to make the background (of status bar and some parts of the notifications drop-down menu) transparent.
No matter what I tried, I can't get further than changing the color of:
the status bar
the text in it (without the clock)
the notifications text and their backgrounds
Everything else under "status bar mod" in the kitchen, didn't change.
When I was with darky's theme, the kitchen changed clock + carrier txt & bg too. On stock theme they stay... stock.
I pulled the framework-res.apk directly from the phone using adb. I pulled it again after installing the stock theme mod... actually I pull it after every change I make. I have cooked ~6 themes so far, tried different settings, still no-go. I mounted system, data, etc, installed the zip. No errors. I didn't miss any ticks in the kitchen, tried both amend and edify scripting, all is green is summary. Latest - UOT-04-04-20-38-2 (I tried installing one color icons, they work too). What am I doing wrong?
PS Something's been bugging me. When I go in the recovery mount menu, it says that everything is mounted. I noticed that after I install the zip, system gets unmounted. Unless I mount it and install the zip again - absolutely no change.

i'm using it with blue sense icon for status bar...working perfectly. Only remembre not to set up icon for powerwidget in notification it'll SHTF.
but I still have a problem with it, sms, mail and app update are still "normally grey"
Even tried to change it fixing the CM7 system theme...nothing change.
I'm on CM7 DInc and the battery status bar icons change between the stock icons (themed using blue bionic) and the UOT icons that I flashed in recovery. Then I tried to use the theme.apk file to apply the status bar and battery mods to...and it still does the same thing What could be the problem?

Hey guys, I made this last night for CM7 RC4 using Cyanbread renamed to MyTheme. The .zip flashed ok but the theme chooser lists 4 themes available but only shows 3 preview screens. Does the kitchen do all the work for me or is there something I'm missing?

I'm a little confused as to how the UOT Kitchen is supposed to work with the CM7 themes. I tried modifying the stock Cyanbread theme to replace only the battery with a custom circle one, but after downloading the generated file and installing via recovery, all I have is an extra non-selectable theme (ie, it jumps from 2/4 to 4/4, #3 does not have a preview and is not selectable). I only uploaded the Cyanbread.apk file itself. Should have I uploaded all 3 apks (framework_res, systemui, and cyanbread) since CM7 is a GB ROM?

I use NSCollab 1.0.17 which is based on the CM7 RC4 build.
Pulled out both framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk in order to create my UOT zip file (BTW I dont use theme chooser).
Only once, for some odd reason, I succeeded in creating UOT file which included battery, icons, fonts and bootanimation.
I have tried many times however, for some reason, the bootanimation does not appear. I have selected the "system/media (Cyanogen ROM)" from the dropdown menu and selected Pacman.
Everytime I cooked the UOT file I got the same 6.05 MB which I know by its size it does not include the bootanimation.
Again, I did succeed only once to create such UOT which was 8.25 MB and did include bootanimation.
The one I just created was UOT-04-05-06-27-1
Any ideas?

dont choose icon for powerwidget, its working now
simply you don't have the preview. Make attention from when the number goes from 2 to 4 or something like this, missing a step in fact. If you make care and slide very slow, you can se the 3 and with care you can stop the slide exactly in the middle and set up your new theme.

Kitchen originally was build for HTC Desire, but now it supports most devices with Android OS.
Kitchen takes files from your rom and adds modifications you choose.
It works for most custom deodexed roms: Froyo (2.2) and Gingerbead (2.3).
You can use kitchen with stock odexed roms (if you have .odex files in your rom - kitchen works for you too)
How to use kitchen
1. Go to Kitchen page http://uot.dakra.lt/kitchen/
2. Browse through available mods and choose what you need (don't forget to press Generate preview if theris such button)
3. Go to File upload section and upload your files or choose rom from kitchen's list (most roms in the list is for HTC Desire)
Files needed to upload:
Froyo rom: framework-res.apk
Gingerbread rom: framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk
Gingerbread with sense rom: framework-res.apk, SystemUI.apk and com.htc.resources.apk
Cyanogenmod7 rom: Cyanbread.apk or Androidian.apk or any theme for ThemeChooser (rename as you like it to apear in theme menu)
NOTE 1: if you uploading theme apk - do not upload any other files (you just waisting trafic, because kitchen will ignore additional files)
NOTE 2: Font packs and Bootanimation do not requires uploading files.
4. Go to Summary section. All choosed mod must be in green background. If there is mod in red background - it means you did not finished it.
press Submit work to kitchen
5. Remember UOT file name. You can wait for a kitchen to cook your request, but after 5min waiting will be stopped (nothing to worry about).
6. Go to Pickup page http://uot.dakra.lt/pickup/ and wait for your file to appear (it can take up to 30min or more)
7. Download UOT zip into SD card of your phone
8. Reboot into recovery
9. Wipe cache and dalvik-cache (just in case). Do not make factory reset.
10. Flash UOT zip
11. Reboot phone
How get files for kitchen
Check your How-to page
What to do of the UOT-......... ZIP file
1. Reboot into recovery.
2. choose "install zip from sdcard"
3. choose "choose zip from sdcard"
4. locate your file UOT-... .zip in SD
5. confirm "YES - install UOT ... .zip"
6. wait for script to finish
7. reboot phone
If you cooked file for ThemeChooser - you can unzip UOT and install apk as regular one. After that - select new theme in Theme Chooser and reboot phone.
WARNING! Flash UOT file after you have first boot.
If you flashed new rom, boot up your phone first time
and after that reboot into recovery to flash UOT file.
What to do if you get SHTF error
Kitchen uses inteligent approach to your files and tryes to fix most of errors, but sometimes apk tools fails to recompile your files and kitchen can't do nothing.
If you get SHTF error and want to ask for help in forum - please, mention UOT file name and ROM or Theme you are using. Also, telling your device will be very helpfull.

this can be hard to complete.It might have been a bug but it was a welcomed one! Please bring it back!
Seriously, is there any way to implement it? The known method (editing notification_config.txt) doesn't solve the problem, it creates an empty space (see attachment). I'm sure I'm not the only one who would use it.
