I used these drivers from Motorola's website. I can't mention the url, cause I just left lurking status, but google "Motorola Mobile Drivers 5.2.1 64 bit." Worked perfectly for me, but I can no longer download files as previous poster mentioned

Can you please upload the file? I can't find it.

http://www.multiupload.com/HPIO6K8XIK download and extract this file to somewhere you will not lose it...

to flash this you need rsdlite and drivers

Steps to flashing...

1. DL and install RSDLite and Driver package from link above
2. Power down your phone
3. On your phone hold vol up and power till you see RSD at the top of the screen
4. Launch RSDLite from your program menu on your pc/laptop
5. Press the “. . .” button next to the box labeled “Filename”
6. Load up the SBF file you extracted from the MR download
7. Plug your device into your computer RSDLite should recognize your phone right away if you installed the drivers from this link i provided
8. Press the “Start” button
9. Be patient...takes a while...will reboot a couple times so grab a beverage of choice...use the restroom...take out the dogs...whatever...
10. may require activation again...mine did so be sure you have a means in which to do so...web...phone to call sprint for programming...OTA...
11. Enjoy and hit thanks!!!

you will lose root but can easily get it back again!!!

Can you list what types of issues have been fixed? It sounds like some audio issues and more. Would like to know what I would be loading onto the device.

When I plug the phone in, in RSDLite, is the Device Properties field supposed to fill up with info? Mine didn't and I pushed start anyway... it's processing as I type..

Update successful, phone needed reactivation on Sprint's network afterwards but everything seems ok.

Will have to root again when I get some time.

My main issue is the lack of sound in calls. Can anyone say whether its different either way?
*Also just curious if a pre-rooted sbf is possible? I know they have them on a few other motos, it would be cool to just sbf and have root :)

So the baseband version has increased from N_01.28.03R, and the kernel has increased from 00027. Everything else stayed the same.

Also it looks like your PRL is out of date cause mine is 53114 but I'm still on MR-1.

I would like to know if anyone was successful in updating and root afterwards, 'cause I lost webtop functionality altogether after the update. All I have now is HDMI mirroring when in the dock, and if I try to start Webtop connector, it doesn't help either.

Please tell me I did NOT lose webtop, I was using this the most...

Edit : Had to put the phone in the dock with the power to the dock unplugged, then once HDMI mirroring was on, plugged the dock power back in, Webtop came back. Thank God!

It takes a while for it to go through all the processes - make sure you don't unplug it from USB until it's totally finished!

Also there is a chance you will need to know your MSL in order to activate!

This does not delete any of your programs or user data. I have already updated my non-rooted phone.

I had a hell of a time extracting the sbf without errors and when I finally did I get an error in rsd saying something about chipset 53. Any ideas?
