Hello guys! Today (6 Aug 2018) Google released Android Pie along with all new 157 new emojis which add up to existing emojis which were overhauled in Android Oreo update. So I present you the all new emojis for devices running Oreo or older Android versions.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. A Rooted Device running Kitkat+ Android version.
2. Any File Manager with Root access(Solid Explorer, Root Explorer or ES etc.)

INSTRUCTIONS:

•Manual Method
1. Your device must be rooted (SuperSU or MagiskSU or any other method)
2. Open Explorer>root/system/fonts and backup the original NotoColorEmoji.ttf file
3. Download the emoji file(from Google Drive download link), rename it to NoToColorEmoji.ttf, replace the older NotoColorEmoji.ttf file with the newer one and set the permission to -rw-r--r-- (0644)
4. Reboot
5. Profit! You'll have brand new emoji set
•Flashable Zip
1. Reboot to TWRP
2. Flash the zip.
3. Done!

BUGS:

No bugs so far. All the emojis are display correctly.
•If you are using substratum make sure you are on stock font and then flash the zip or follow the method else it won't work! After installing the mod you may install any custom font.

NOTE:

This mod has been tested on my device (OnePlus 3T) running Android Oreo, Nougat, Marshmallow and on Lollipop & Kitkat too by users.
It works both for AOSP Keyboard and Gboard (systemwide!)
Sub note: 1. Doesn't work for keyboard of apps like WhatsApp,Hike and Telegram as they have their own emojis (iOS ones).
2. AOSP Keyboard needs to be updated to show the new Pie emojis which will probably be done when the source code of P drops.

Hello guys! Today at I/O 2017 Google released Android O Beta along with all new redesigned Emojis. So I present you the all new emojis for devices running Nougat or Older Android versions.

Gboard only displays the changed emojis, not the new ones. Can this be fixed?

Device - Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 (mido)
ROM - AEX 4.2 (build 09/05/2017)
Android - 7.1.2_r8

It should not happen. Could you please elaborate your problem with a screenshot? I tested it on 3 devices (2 on AEX 4.2) and it works fine. Did you give the correct permissions? And also if it doesn't work then restore your previous TTF file and flash the zip. I'm uploading(Check the OP)

Oh. These new emojis are only available on O as they are added in the system (their pngs) so they need system level modifications to work on N. I'll see if I can add them in the next release. Till then enjoy these :)

Also, Everyone!
Flashable zip link is posted below (OP updated too) and it works well. No need to follow the manual method, just flash the zip and you're done!
Link: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862727354
Also, it needs testing on Lollipop so if anyone has Android lollipop on their device please test and report back. Most probably it will work. Thanks!

Thanks. Btw, i can still use them by copying them from emojipedia as they aren't fully unsupported. They are unavailable on the keyboards only. The link I added in the post and the link i screenshotted are different, the former shows the emojis as images while the latter shows the emoji as they look on my phone. And they appear correctly instead of appearong as boxes, as they had before i replaced the file. http://emojipedia.org/unicode-10.0/

You must be using custom font from Substratum? Read the note under 'BUGS' section.

Yes =o you are right.

I had assumed that you were refering to a theme and not only the fonts.
Just had set, to default, reboot, and flash emojis again, and no emojis at all. After reaply a new font theme in subs, all the new emijis appeared :)

Many thanks ;)

    Time for new update!

    New Pie Emojis are up!
Google made minor but noticeable changes to the Emojis in the Final P release.
The zip has been updated. Enjoy :D

    New Update!

A new update is out and includes final Oreo 8.0.0 release Emojis from Google Pixel (1st generation).

There isn't any major change but this is the latest one.
This would probably be the last update for the Android version 8.0.0 if Google changes nothing. A new update would arrive if I find something interesting in Pixel 2,2 XL System dumps once they are up or with Android 8.1 release.
Till then enjoy with these ;)
Also, Sorry for the delay this time. I was busy with my college.
