Is it possible to fix the gradient banding on black backgrounds like settings?

Dude love your ROM so far...I'm a little weak in battery life (but that could be due to me playing with the device so much). Anyways...here's some ideas/suggestions of things I've noticed...

Add the option for long press multi-task button to bring up nav bar widgets.

In tablet UI I noticed you can't expand the notifications like you can in Phablet UI.

See if you can get USB DAC support working fully. By fully I mean my biggest gripe in every ROM I've tried it'll work only if you reboot the tablet with a DAC plugged in. You can't just plug it in and have it work without the reset (and vice versa to disable the DAC if forces you to reboot)

That's about it for now if I come up with more I'll let you know.

Yeah I just added a cherry-pick to Dirty AOKP to fix this. It would be tricky to add it to Dirty RootBox to when it hits 4.2.2 it will be fixed. Honestly Im on the stock theme for so short a time I don't notice it haha.

Dirty RootBox is uploading now. There are some new settings including CRT On and Off animation(You can turn them on and off), and much more check it out. I know some people wanted CRT Off so here it is, Bajee is doing great work.

No sure if the CRT Screen On works yet, but CRT Screen Off does.

Dirty RootBox v1.3 is done uploading, check for updates with GooManager if you didn't get the update.

It probably doesn't. It depends on libsurfaceflinger, and in RB 4 it only worked for off.

Odd cause your 4.2.2 screenshot appears to have banding :p. I'll give AlloyUI a try. :)

Something to look at while the ROM is d/l.

I finally figured out that there is a setting in Nova that will get rid of that pesky white icon dock line.

Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate the work you, Bajee, and all the other devs put in to make RB and this ROM so awesome. :)

In have an issue where my home screen just shakes and shifts back and forth left to right. Usually it is just the wallpaper. I am using one of the Rootzbox walls. Sometimes icons do it too. I am on 1.2 but it did it on 1.0 also. I can get a logcat if wanted.

hey guys,

I dirty flash v1.3 to 1.2 but haven't encountered the problem (Unfortunately, Home has stopped) you are having...
I used M-kernel as well..
Did you wipe cache and dalvik cache first before flashing?


BTW, CRT on and CRT off are working great now!

Also i see statusbar in app drawer and in lockscreen.i dont want that.is there a setting to dont have it in those 2?

    Installation Steps

    4. Choose the Aroma options you want.
    5. After selecting Additional Apps the ROM will be flashed
