hello everyone,
I forgot on how to root my e980 from stock kitkat... its been 3 months since my last flash.

Can anyone here post the file names and steps that I need?

If you just want to root your phone, try towelroot.apk. You must be really lazy because a Google search on rooting lg-e980 will tell you about towel root app.

By any chance you have link to a thread which points to installing a custom recovery on my E988 (running official Kit Kat) ? SW version is E98820c-ESA-XX
