OP updated with JellyBelly v5: Lagfree Edition... ENJOY!!! Just for the record I am going to leave Alpha in the title of the thread simply because I don't own this device and there is no way for me to test anything... However I built this ROM from an EVO 4G ROM and you don't need to worry about it not working but do please inform me of any bugs and I will do my best to get them resolved. Thanks for using my ROM, I hope you enjoy it (I think you will).

Am I missing it, or is the option for Owner information missing from the Security Options on the v5 update? Running great so far for me in any case!

It shouldn't be:confused: What's everybody else think about this ROM? Also, do you guys have a MotoBlur ICS ROM? I just finished one and was thinking about throwing it up here, since it's based on SmurfMod it should be really easy.

Sounds like a good idea! Would the Motoblur ICS ROM also incorporate Seeder?

Yes indeed, and v6 supercharger. I love the combination of the two. I'll definitely port it over when I get done testing and release it on the Shift. I've got moving ROMs between these two devices down and will start releasing all my work on this device too since you guys enjoy it. Anything to keep the old EVOs alive lol.

Notification Sound Problem

This ROM really flies on the EVO 4G. It looks like a good daily except I cannot get notification sounds to work???? I noticed that I was getting text messages and didn't hear them come in.

I checked the setting in chomp and it had a real ring tone, but when you select it, there is no noise. So I went into settings and checked the default notification tone. It was selected, but no noise when selecting.

I went to the volumes and separated ringtones from notifications. When you change ringtones, there is noise. When you change notifications, there is no noise.

Has anyone else had this happen, and did you find a fix?

I like this rom and want to use a JB rom. Not having notifications is a deal breaker. The better half doesn't like it when I don't answer :)>>

What was your wiping method?

Notification sound not working

What was your wiping method?

I used WIPE, WIPE, WIPE (data, system, cache, sd-ext, and dalvik cache) as suggested in OP using the superwipe in [RECOVERY][MOD][1-June-2012] RA-supersonic-v4.3-smelkusMOD.

Then I used the cache dalvik cashe wipe by itself.

I am beginning to wonder if something is conflicting on my phone as this is the second JB rom [mazwoz'z was the other]I have this problem with notification sounds, but every time I go back to a gingerbread rom they work.

Should I try the total reset? Never did becasue I was afraid it would clear things out that I could not replace.

What do you think?

This is totally an idea that just popped into my head and may not work but if it does it would greatly help me out in figuring something out. So if you could try flashing this over the ROM and see if notifications work after I would greatly appreciate it. Download the Universal AC!D Audio Mod... the other stuff on the thread is pretty cool too but the AC!D mod is what I want you to try http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2002367 thanks.:)

It's already done for the Shift I am just doing the final stage of testing. So far 4G is the only bug but that one's not gonna change lol.
Edit: the movers are taking forever, so I ended up throwing it together. I'll upload the Shift and EVO versions as soon as I get a viable Internet connection.

    This is a port of my ROM on the Shift, this community has given so much to me that I felt the need to give back. It is the most stable JB ROM we have and hopefully it will be pretty stable on the EVO too. I DON'T HAVE AN EVO!!!! So I will try my best to fix bugs but don't expect much. And I don't know if there will be any updates but probably at least one.

    > Screen Flickering & Graphics Issue

    Most of Graphic Glitches are Gone. Even though some users are experiencing them. Follow the Steps below to avoid these Graphic Glitches.

    Use ROM Toolbox or any other build.prop editor to change the below values in the build.prop or add lines in the build.prop.

    Make sure---> debug.composition.type=gpu

    Make sure---> debug.mdpcomp.maxlayer=2

    If you don't have them, add them at the bottom of your build.prop. If you have to change the values or add lines, reboot afterward.

    > Instagram Problem

    After applying the Screen Flickering & Graphics Issue Solution do the Following also.

    ->Enable Developer Options
    -> Put tick mark to Disable HW overlays. (This gets disable on every reboot. Enable it again)
    -> Put tick mark to Force GPU rendering.
    -> Put tick mark to Don't Keep Activities.
