kernel compile error
Hi AndreiLux!
I'm trying to build your kernel in a chroot on a note2, the phone itself, with gentoo arm (tried with armv7a-softfp-linux-gnueabi-4.4.3 and armv7a-softfp-linux-gnueabi-4.6.3) and the compile fails. Im using the config from /proc/config.gz (of course without the crosscompile string) I know this whole thing is funny, but i really would like to make if work...
The error is:
{standard input}: Assembler messages:
{standard input}:69: Error: selected processor does not support ARM mode `smc 0'
{standard input}:284: Error: selected processor does not support ARM mode `smc 0'
{standard input}:306: Error: selected processor does not support ARM mode `smc 0'
make[2]: *** [drivers/misc/tzic.o] Error 1
make[1]: *** [drivers/misc] Error 2
I'm curious, maybe you also had this problem at some time, or do you have any ideas what i can do to get rid of it?
I had the same error for the "Floating point emulation" but at least i could turn that off in the config. But this tzic? I can't find any option for this one.
I have googled this for a long time, other people had similar errors, and there are patches out there, but not even remotely for "tzic"... I'm stuck with this...
Thanks in advance for your help!
