I don't know what happened, but R29 brought back the charging, heat, and the recents fc issue. Looks like a clean flash is in order.

lee, pls, can you tell me what happened to the battery icons in r28, where do i replace them? i can't seem to be able to do it now. if i change in your framework nothing happens

If you can't see them it means you didn't select the option when you installed it through aroma. You can either dirty flash the rom or edit the build.prop, find "leedroid.battery.percent" and make it equal 1.

and the option in aroma was still checked by default
will try to redownload the svn, maybe something went wrong

Sounds like a plan.

It's not going good. I still haven't found what is causing the overlay colour.

Clean flash did the trick. Everything is good now.

Not really though, it is something HTC has done and HTC don't release the source for their Intellectual Property. So you have to reverse engineer these things. This is why @LeeDroid's job is so hard! Make sure you buy him a beer now and then.

All their HTC Sense stuff that goes on top/with android is their IP and not open.

The kernel is always released as it under the GNU general public licence and it has to be released otherwise they will in breach of that licence agreement.

Anyways, this is going OT now, so we should probably stop spamming the thread lol.

Good to hear it.. it's sometimes a good idea to let it settle a little too mate, even after a dirty flash as many resource caches etc need to be rebuilt

Does UDove (Tell HTC) have to remain or can it safely be removed from Priv-App?

What is the folder "mcRegistry" in System/App for?

Where is the location of icons for the battery percent mod? I couldn't find them, I'd like to replace them with different icons.

1 - yes you can remove it, but that won't stop all tracking.

2 - It belongs to securityplattform

The appdrivers cant connect the daemon if you delete it I think.

3 - if you can't find them in sysui or framework Res they might not be an img

Udove is utilized by some system related notifications which won't appear if removed, it won't stop anything functioning though.

mcRegistry contains auth tokens for the mobicore security demon, after wipe they will be created in /data/app but the system file is a fallback, read more here https://android.googlesource.com/pl...lsi/exynos5/+/idea133/mobicore/README.android

Icons for battery percent are in framework/leedroid-framework-res.apk

i reactivated them in build.prop

The nav bar is at 100%, options during install do not appear to do anything.

Also, running warm and high battery use on r29 just sitting there.

Dirty flashed since r24.

Issue in the set prop in aroma, will get it fixed tonight, it's not setting the string to a new line, easily to manually edit.

Give it a reboot, it should settle, mines much better.
