Samsung start rolling out the first Value packs for the Samsung Galaxy W in Europe. You can get this update through OTA or Samsung Kies.
The Value pack is at the moment only for Slovakia and Romania.
If you want to be the first with this special pack follow us on twitter.
If you use ODIN follow @SamFirmware and if you use Samsungs own program please follow @SamKiesUpdates
Whats new for the Galaxy W?
- Face Unlock.
- Camera Icon (can take shots) while Video Recording.
- Power Key Ends Call (Setting Under Accessibility)
- Vision (Setting Under Accessibility)
- Can change text size in Contacts, Calendar, Messaging and Memo.
The Value pack for the Galaxy W is based on Android 2.3.6 and you as code letter a M in the firmware code.
If you can’t wait you can already download the first firmwares here on SamMobile!!

i think he just forgot to put more details.

the fw we got from OTA is different from the one you posted:

we got here I8150DXLC1 NOT the XXLM6 one.

and yes, no face unlock for me as well. but the one i'm after is to take still pictures while taking video.

i guess it's not included here in our region.

You can flash it via odin also ^_^

    Got my kid a Galaxy W GTI8150 phone. About time I *packaged* a ROM for it.

    So, here it is, stock xxlm8 deodexed, rooted, with maps + navigation 6.6, gtalk with video, and lidroid 14 toggles + crt + % battery.
