Samsung service trouble

Hey Everyone.
I have one question.
So I rooted my note and after I used ota to update.(samdung firmware 4.2)
But I have problems with my battery.This problem was before,this is why I updated.So if I send my tablet to the costumer service they will see I rooted or no?

And My Samsung Note 8.0

This happened after I installed android 4.2.2 ,my battery status icon turned gray, and only displays a question mark. When I go to battery status in the settings menu it reads unkown. I just got home to plug it into the charger but it will not charge, I have also done a battery pull. Any advice?
