i cant install app to change theme..
i am not able to install the apk(xcxin.filexpert.145.apk) which is used to change theme, it shows the message application not installed..
what to do now i really want to try themes on this rom..!!

file expert is not necessarily needed.
download any root browser from Play store (ES File Explorer for say)
and follow further instructions as written..

Thanx for your support, I was able to make that theme folder but another problem is eating my brain, now i am not able to download any online theme, it always pop's up with msg, failed to download, before making that theme folder i had downloaded various themes..

But anyhow as a workaround try deleting the theme folder then download whatever you want, then recreate the folder in root..

THIS IS THE ULTIMATE NOOB GUIDE TO GET THEMES WORKING ON THIS ROM
1.download this
2.open it
3.click no thanks.
4.click my files
5.click "phone internal storage"
6.hit menu button(the left most hardware button on your phone)
7.select more
8.select settings
9.select the second option i.e. file explorer settings.(if u see black text on black background then just try to pree the options to get them highlighted and visible)
10.check the root explorer option
11.click allow in the box that comes
12.hit back button two times such that u are in phone internal storage
13.find data and click it
14.find system and click it
15.press the menu button(the left most hardware botton)
16.select new
17.select "create new folder"
18 this is the most important step so follow it word to word
19.give the folder name "theme"(without quotes)
20.remember---> the folder name should be theme not themes,Theme etc...i mean all the alphabets should be small and write only theme not themes
21.click okay.
22.this should make themes working.if it still dont work then read the above steps again and try again.if u did everything same and still dont have themes working then i cant help u anymore.
23.IF themes work then go to themes and apply the one you like but uncheck the lockscreen because it wont fit our screen.use milocker to use that lockscreen.
24.if by any chance u are stuck at a huge lockscreen which u cant unlock then press back button and volume up button together at the lockscreen to unlock.change the lockscreen to default one as soon as possible to avoid that in future(to be done in themes not in milocker).

Center clock patch is approaching about 50 downloads and only 2 ppl bothered to appreciate it by pressing Thanks...
It took me about 4 hours in my exam time to figure out the patch for MIUI while for CM it was a two minute job..
I do not care about the no. of Thanks in the Thanks meter but it really doesn't feel good when you take out time n try something new and innovative and when u share it with ppl, they are so ignorant even to show their appreciation by hitting Thanks button which costs nothing..
For me Thanks is nothing more then this "Hey man, I like your work, Thanks" and i m very generous with Thanking ppl even if it helped me a bit or even if i learnt something new. I never spoke in xda about thanks n stuff but this time i did coz ppl are just becoming ignorant and this is neither a publicity stunt to increase Repo.. Its just what i felt and i will keep on contributing as far as ppl are finding it useful irrespective of ppl appreciate it or not....
