Hi, i'm new with sammy droids and one thing is a little confusing for me... I read all your comments and this seems to be a very good rom for
a friend's S+.. My question is, how to install CWM (not the feamod) with Odin when it is asking for *.tar.md5 files and CWM i downloaded (6.0.1.2-ariesve) is a *.zip file..
Do i just select the zip file under One pacage option or what? Srry for the silly question, but i don't wanna mess up my friends phone
Btw, the phone already has feamod recovery installed..

hmm go to recovery wipe cache dalvik and fix permission then try again
when this doesn't work try to reinstall gapps

please make sure that existing simplistic ics-rom users can just flash the new version and keep all their settings and apps (incl. settings) intact. also, please do not overtune the rom. i often found that this can cause problems. just keep it SIMPLE-istic and honor the name you gave your rom. :fingers-crossed:

Hey what happened to the beta 2 release? This is the smoothest ICS rom for me and I'd love to have it updated to the latest improvements made by arco and ivendor (that ussd attack weakness is something to worry about).
Are you still developing or I have to start looking for a new daily rom?

Great! Take your time, I just wanted to make sure this ROM was still active. Subscribed and waiting
agreed. take your time. i think it would make sense to wait for arco's next release and then implement these changes in Simplistic and release Beta2. Should be really good then. Please see to it that existing Beta1-users can just flash this over their existing installations WITHOUT wipe.

Huh? I've never done more than (Dalvik) Cache Wipe when changing between CWM ICS Roms...
Even switching between arcos and invendor is no Problem.

U didn't make a mistake. BETA 2 was announced a while ago. I am currently building on BETA 2 since the new CM releases all the time.
