+1 Updates don't always = improvements.Can not see a rason for installing and using Sony KitKat update since JB is a better

Weird thing there is no (at least) background_defocus camera and (expected) 4k video
, ui is somehow funny for me, theme too, no gradients on few icons at bottom of the main screen, generally nothing new + looking like unfinished project

If you ask me. This update is just an attempt of sony to prevent other users from overtaking reviews and blogs once z2 is out. I mean imagine if sony doesn't release 4.4. Comments section of anything about z2 would be full of ranting users which would be not a good thing for the z2 sales.
I think our update is an "solved bug" related to the "possibility of using Z2 apps", he fixed a bug so Z2 camera apps is no more working in our update
I think a lot of world will be disapointed for future thinking about next device from company if Z1C & Z1 gets abandoned for future updates.

Everything works well. I had problems installing some applications, among others, which I like the keyboard or the Xperia T alphanumeric because I had a message "Instalation aborted" but I gave your other kernel this:

If your phone's bootloader is unlocked, camera won't take pictures at all. I'm going back to 4.3 until this problem is fixed.
Can not see a rason for installing and using Sony KitKat update since JB is a better
sad, but +1 for that!
also, in kitkat preventing some apps to write to SD card is a huge crap! tomtom, dropsync (which I massively use) have to be on internal memory, running low fast

Found one thing which not working correctly! In recovery mode there system partition can not be mounted to RW so anything can not be installed to system! If some one have idea what might be a fix than let me know and I will try to fix that!
Another thing. Z2 camera is not working on KitKat and I must say thans a realy sad! Sony not included new camera, thats allso sad. Allso I think Sony secured Z2 camera so no one can install them on new update, thats sad too. Can not see a rason for installing and using Sony KitKat update since JB is a better

Generaly, ART is an experimental feature on 4.4 (https://source.android.com/devices/tech/dalvik/art.html) so is not recomended! Can not tell you since not tried on our rom! Many users in roms section of my old phone (Xperia Go + Sola, P, U) had problems using art. Probably ART will be stable on next android version, or probably removed, who know
