The user called lerameur have found that the VVM feature of WP7 / WP8 is enabled be some registry key.
Here are the values for Orange France / Sosh :
With the advices from lerameur, I extracted the values for Bouygues Telecom. Here they are :
You need to reboot your phone for the changes to take effect.
After reboot, go to Phone -> Settings and switch on VVM.
We should be able to get the values for other operator from branded phones or updates.
Is it possible to extract a firmware update (Nokia FFU for exemple) to read the registry?
I'm searching for Bouygues Telecom values for my personnal use... (I have a new unbranded phone).
If you have a branded phone and a registry editor, you can post the values for yor operator and I'll update this post ^^
Thanks in advance for your help.
