PAC-man Rom for the Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0 and 4.0
Goldflame09 and I will be bringing PAC-rom to the Galaxy Player 4.0 and 5.0, respectively. 4.0 users please refer to posts 3 and 4 to get downloads and installation instructions.

First build posted for the 4.0 in the 3rd post. hope you enjoy it. focal is partially working but do not try to take pictures cause bad things happen

New 4.0 build posted. You will find it in beta drive folder in downloads section. Date is 0806-192101

Changes:

  • Added back auto-brightness adjuster
  • Pac-papers is back
  • Voice+
  • Other minor things

i keep on getting a build.prop error when i flash this :/ am i doing something incorrect?

i am currently on the pac rom before this one ( the pac rom thats the latest 4.2.2)

and i have backed up everything but as soon as i got install this new one it comes up with this build.prop error.
ill do it again and get a photo for you guys

New build is up, 0815.

Changes:
  • Added option for weather in status bar like AOKP
  • Animated ADB icon
  • PA per app color fixes
  • Settings layout redone
  • More minor things

    Sorry for the long wait, but the first alpha build for the 5.0 is now available!

    Rom Download: pac_venturi_4.3-alpha.build.0_20130816-013124.zip - 156.21 MB
    Kernel: Sultan kernel r6 is highly recommended for best user experience.
    gapps: goo.im/gapps

    Installation - these instructions for flashing for the first time are slightly different because of a little glitch with selinux:
    Wipe data, cache, and dalvik. (Note: wiping data is optional, but you may or may experience slowness or force closes)
    flash rom
    go to advanced, and select power off
    boot into recovery again
    flash rom, kernel, and gapps.
    reboot and enjoy!

    Updating rom:
    wipe cache and dalvik cache.
    flash rom
    flash kernel
    flash gapps
    reboot
    wait
    enjoy!
