Unable to install CM recovery or TWRP

Sir, I have 4.1.2 AT&T ROM OM MY SKYROCKET I727. Problem is that I am unable to install CM recovery via ROM manager that says "error occurred during installation". Goo manager shows latest TWRP for this. When I install it downloads img file but don't install. I donot know how to use CM recovery img for direct installation.

You need to flash it in Odin. Look at the stickies in the development forum
