Another good rom one thing though, why are all sense roms no matter 2.1/2.2 never super smooth when in all apps.
When you use launcher pro for example its super smooth in all apps but when ever i used sense ones they never are.

yes, 1.2a should be fine with "no wipe" from any desire froyo rom, just make sure you wipe the Dalvik Cache

Well morning all. so far it seems ok. Put it on charge after getting me stuff back on it at 5am, woke up at 11:30 and battery was only at 90% not sure if this is because i done a 'clear battery indicator' in wipes, but any way done another bettery wipe and is now hitting 100%. Sorry if this is an easy one but to get msg and mail indication to vibrate?? seem to have the option set to do it but dont seems to wana. rom looks fast and stable as have had no FC's. 720 works. WiFi and mobile signal is good no drops. But anyway for now am off to work will mess about with it there and report back later ontonight, after a good tinker around.

before i start anything...just wanna double confirm the whole instruction..
im coming from a 2.1 custom rom..
1) wipe everything including my ext partition.
2) format my sd card to fat32
3) flash and do all the setting as stated in post #1
4) flash the radio
and thats it right ? can i restore all the apps from Mybackup Pro??

cant install the rom...
after select the Flash Zip from sd card, i get this:

This could be the cause what option in clockworkmod should I choose to clear ext3? I'm sure I did it.

You can lower the maximum CPU speed, which is effectively underclocking it. This will save power.
I have SetCPU configured with a "screen off" profile, which lowers the maximum CPU speed to 275mhz when the screen is off.1Anyone else have serious memory leak and battery drain issues with 1.9? 1.8c was very good with memory but 1.9 is unbelievable. After maybe 5 hours the phone slows down to a crawl and I need to kill all tasks as it would say there's only 23(!)mb RAM left. Juiceplotter used to say 36ish hours on 1.8c but on 1.9 it gives me an estimate of 12 hours on a full charge.1
