I will use this but still no 4.4.2, or even a soak test for us second class citizen's of the moto family.
I am not sure If usb mass storage did the trick Or OTG mode- peripheral did it.
Let me know.
So it works for you on 4.4 or what?
I use stick mount works the same and it's a tiny app. This did not work I have the qualcom app open it change otg to enabled and it doesn't stick. Keeps changing back to disabled. More trouble then its worth trying to figure it out. I'll just use stick mount.
I just checked mine & yes the usb mass storage gets cleared. But my otg mode is still on.
So the usb does not need to be set to start with.
Or needed setting once.
My usb disk is still there. This is all new to me & I am unrooted.
I have the same thing. I'm on official 4.4.0 with root. But stickmount works now, and it is wondefull! I think it will be work on 4.4.2

Yes I can't figure out why it doesn't work I followed the directions. But no joy.

You only want install the apk if it is not present. If on a custom rom.
That may be your problem. Try restoring to a previous system?
No i didnt install the apk I already had it in my system I changed the permissions but did nothing. I going to mess around a little bit see if I can figure it out.
To all. Edit still need 422?
Please post a qc apk from 4.4 & 4.2.2 in the x thread please. I will put them in the op for some to use. The one I have is 442.

OTG/usbdisk is /storage/usbdisk_1.1.1 in JB 4.2.2. on My Moto X DE, from any root filer. No stick mount needed. Has anyone checked 4.4?
Checked. Droid mini 4.2.2 and 4.4.0 OTG/usbdisk don't work only stickmount with root.
