Re: [ROM] Intergalactic v2.5 [OC/UV][UCDLK3][2/4/2013]

I flashed this mod and it broke Settings.

I undervolted a lot. 96 MHz voltage is at 725mV so I've reduce by 175mV (I think?) across the board. There's a tad artifacting but nothing bad.

Long run might kill components. Lower than minimum needed is not recommended.

Has anyone who bought system tuner pro lost voltage control?

It worked in the free version...

Weird. The voltage screen was blank for me with pro. Refunded while I could.

What extra does it really provide? Anything usefully?

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda premium

A satisfaction that I supported dev :) that's kinda the only reason I paid for it. I'm good with adjusting max speed and voltages. That was all I was looking for.

I believe that's a 4.1.2 mod and intergalactic is a 4.1.1 based ROM :what:

I saw this as well! The system UI and framework are absolutely different between the two and most likely aren't compatible with each other. That's where one would run into issues.

All this talk of voltages going on, I'm going to try a few new things.

Also I hope you guys are hanging in there. I've been quite busy lately with a slew of exams coming up as well as a new ROM project for the AT&T Galaxy S2, but it will be a private release for a friend and won't take very long. I'll be in and out as I can.

I ain't even mad. I wanted to debug it, but I had issues arise with my Java projects and family arriving in town.

Nice. Do you both do the same thing? :)

Also, diablo, I tried badass and it is fantastic. I think I want to stick with it for awhile.

Lol no Wesley. I said about mine :) not his. Am not sure of his. I even created a 16 bit OS as part of random project in college. But that was way back in 2001.

And yes, badass is a real bad ass. The way how the CPU is on lower level frequencies most, and yet no lag, is simply amazing. I didn't get this kind of ratios (max to min freq) even on conservative or power save.

It is no worries at all. What kind of java projects do you work on?

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app

Stupid simple stuff like terminal based games with my friend and maybe a few small GUI utilities for personal use. I mainly do it because I tend to hate the way a current program is made and want it done my way. I might try my hand at a lightweight Java IDE, but I don't have the attention span for it and being 17 means school and work are normally in the way.

I love Java's flexibility. :)

At 17 I didn't have the attention span for anything and I just wanted to leave for college. Kudos to you. ;)

That's actually pretty darn good. Today I've had an hour of talk time, 2 hours of screen time, and I'm only at 62% on the included kernel with badass/row. I'm quite pleased.

I'm still playing around with my kernel settings.

Have you had a chance to try and port some AOSP stuff over, like Phone, Contacts and MMS? Or stock in multi DPI would be nice.

I haven't looked into it no but I will.certainly put it on my list of things to do. I'm not sure if I port it, it will be stable so that's my main concern. Multidpi might not actually be too hard but I would have to really look into it more. I will when I have time.

Okay. Because having the stock apps get messed up when I lower the DPI is the only thing keeping me away from it.

Please note: Photos represent theme work. Please use Wanam Xposed Framework (Included) to theme the ROM to your liking.

    Information:

This is a stock-based ROM that I've made using UCUEMJB firmware for the AT&T Galaxy S3. I've spent a lot of time developing this ROM making it nice and stable and using the tweaks I thought were the best for smoothness, battery life, and stability. This ROM uses a modified, optimized UCUEMJB kernel by me that includes support for init.d scripts and a few extra bells and whistles.

    Features:
    • UCUEMJB Android 4.3 Official Base
    • Modified and optimized UCUEMJB kernel by me
    • Extended power menu
    • Extended APN list
    • Smoothness and battery life tweaks
    • Fully de-odexed
    • Fully zipaligned
    • Bashed
    • Rooted
    • init.d script support and tweaks
    • Real time status bar colors
    • Real time battery bar mod
    • 1% battery mod
    • ADB support
    • Debloating
    • Xposed Framework for custom theming
    • AT&T logo removed
    • Wifi Notification removed
    • Google Now
    • S-Voice
    • Multiwindow
    • Google Keyboard
    • Multi-language support
    • AllianceRom Boot Animation
    • Increased group messaging size
    • Increased MMS size and quality
    • AT&T Contacts removed
    • System sounds from the Nexus 4
    • No increasing ringtone
    • SMS split removed, messages with multiple pages combined
    • Blacklisting
    • MMS slideshow removed so MMS appears threaded and individual
    • Multi SMS lock
    • Call block menu in settings
    • Popup Browser
    • Many other tweaks...

    Installation Instructions:
    1. You MUST have the UCUEMJB or UCUEMJ2 bootloader and the UCUEMJB modem installed before proceeding or this ROM will not work properly. Your data and wifi may be broken if you do not do this first. These are available here: Bootloader and Modem Options
    2. Download ROM to SD card
    3. Reboot into recovery (Must be the latest version)
    4. Do a factory reset
    5. Wipe cache and dalvik cache
    6. Wipe system
    7. Flash Rom (This process may take a minute or two)
    8. Wipe cache and dalvik cache again just to be safe
    9. Tap reboot
    10. In TWRP: Slide the slider to allow TWRP to fix SuperSU permissions (optional)

    Post Installation Instructions:
    • Upon first boot, SystemUI may force close due to modifications. Let the phone settle for a minute and reboot. You should not experience this again.
    • It is HIGHLY suggested that you keep ALL Google Now cards off, verify that you are not updating your location with Google Maps (in Maps settings menu). Remember, Google Now automatically turns on your location settings to update through Google Maps, so after enabling Google Now, unless you want your location on all the time, go to Google Maps and turn it off. Your battery will thank you even more.
    • If you get a Google account sign-in error after installing, there is an easy fix. Go to Menu > Settings > Accounts and Sync. Please REMOVE your current Google account and then add it again. I do not know why this happens to some people, but it doesn't seem to be ROM related. It happens on several devices including the Nexus. Removing and then re-adding your account again fixes this problem

New version 3.0 is up and running. Completely new base. Theming will come later, but most of loserskaters real-time mods have been added so please make sure to head on over to all of his modification threads and thank him as well as enewman17. I have updated tweaks and we are good to go on the new base. Flash away and enjoy! Remember to read the OP as flashing instructions are new. Please make sure you check the MD5 for verification. SystemUI may crash upon first boot. That is normal. Simply reboot the phone and it should not occur again. Thanks for all your patience guys. This has taken me a long time, but I hope it is worth it. :)
