Guys, I am with Vodafone Australia my SGS2 says:

Baseband version: I9100TDUKJ1

what do you recommend shall I flash XXLPB modem? Is Modem is another name for Baseband? So far I am not having any issue with Bluetooth, 2/3G and WiFi with original baseband.

Just a little confused.

Yes, modem is another name for baseband. If your modem is performing well then you don't need to change it.

Yea i think the GPS Maps system ui crash is due to the battery mod.

When i was using it before i installed the mod it worked, now it doesn't.

JP6 and KP8 modems are both okay

Just a little confused.

I'm with Voda in Adelaide, and found I get best reception on LP6 modem. That was on the last build tho, only just flashed the newest so we'll see what happens

Quick impressions so far:
-As above YT works again, looks like Codeworkx decided not to be "lazy" this time and removed the files,
-Got GPS lock indoors, in the usual amount of time from a "cold start", 10 m accuracy, subsequent locks quick,
-Can't install market apps >20 MB (doesn't matter if new gapps or v11),
-The scrolling is different, I think it's because it's hyper sensitive, you can't scroll and let your finger/thumb hover a fraction of a mm off the screen, it will pick this up as input, some will love it, some will hate it I'm sure,
-Recovery 99.9% fixed, only a single solitary text line showing progress as you flash something is located mid screen.

Latest Build

The latest build is the worst I have experienced so far in regards to scrolling and touch smoothness.

I have used CM9 alpha when it first came out and updating as new releases come out.

I have wiped and installed new build still I find the UI is not smooth at all.
Let me know if anyone experiencing the same.

I'm happy, just a preemptive answer to the does Youtube or GPS work questions.

Edit: maxed out pointer speed, does it help, or is it placebo.... hmm..

Liking the new build so far. Don't really get what's the scrolling fuzz seems to be about? Don't really recognise much change?

An (unrelated) question: how do I get the analog clock as in clockworkx' screenshot? See the developers thread, first post. I only seem to have access to the (rather ugly) plain black clock? If it ain't possible, no harm done but I thought maybe it is.

I can confirm the issue with the apps installed to SD no longer being available.

I installed all my big apps (like Angry Birds, Flight Control, etc) to the SD, and they're all now unavailable. Today's is the first build I've used that had this problem though, all previous builds worked fine.

I've been flashing the CM9 builds for at least a month, so I'm 99.9% sure it's not something I've done wrong :)

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.0 (ICS), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

If you're a bloody noob and getting confused by following simple instructions, go down and read about using the noob-proof ODIN method.

First time installing CyanogenMod 9 to your Galaxy S II, or coming from another ROM:
    - READ FAQs: http://teamhacksung.org/wiki/index.php/Experimental:GT-I9100:Frequently_Asked_Questions
    - Make sure you're running ICS bootloaders lower than LPH! (if you're unsure, flash the CM9 Resurrection Edition)
    - Make sure you're running a proper working ClockworkMod-Recovery
    - Copy GApps and CM9 ZIPs to your internal SDCard
    - Boot into Recovery
    - Flash CM9 zip
    - Flash GApps zip
    - DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your calendar sync will not work)
    - Reboot
    - Don't restore Apps using Titanium Backup!

Upgrading from earlier version of CyanogenMod 9:
    - Copy CM9 ZIP to your internal SDCard
    - Boot into Recovery
    - Flash CM9 zip
    - Reboot

    Using the noob-proof ODIN method:
    - Download CM9 Resurrection Edition
    - Download GApps and put it onto your internal sdcard
    - Open Odin
    - Choose cm-9-XXXXXXXX-ODIN-galaxys2.tar.md5 as PDA
    - Boot your phone into download mode
    - Connect your device via usb to your computer
    - Wait till Odin has fully recognized your phone
    - Hit the start button and wait till the flash process is finished
    - Device boots automatically into recovery
    - Flash GApps
    - Reboot into CM9
    - Follow above steps to update CM9 to lastest available version (Upgrading from earlier version of CyanogenMod 9)

It's done when it's done. Don't expect a release withing the next days. If it takes weeks, then it takes weeks.

I'll focus on I9100 development because it's the device with the most users.
It will take us a lot of time to integrate all patches/hacks needed for samsung devices.

Don't bug us or ask for etas, just be patient and let us work.
That's the best what you can do.
