ok thanks booted up my phone now tell me which kernel to flash coz i flashed nightelf with the following command fastboot boot boot.img
and am not able to enter cwm
please tell me which kernel to flash orr provide me alink

try the b kernel .. and repeatedly press the vol- button when you see the blue logo.

Facelock you can reboot phone to fix it...

i'd suggest you not to restore the backup, rather do a fresh install of all your favourite apps.

extract the zip package to fastboot folder:
and in cmd.
fastboot flash boot boot.img (use the kernel provided below)
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
fastboot flash system system.img

to get super user and to enable wifi and bluetooth, perform the following:
1. download and replace the boot.img with nightelf's boot.img and flash it using fastboot..
2. when the kernel boots, press vol-down repeatedly to enter cwm.
3. flash the file provided .. and Voila!!
4. reboot.

you have fully working ICS..
i have tested the CWM recovery to be working once the phone is rooted.
it isn't a flashable zip.
you have to extract the zip provided and run the install-cwm1.cmd file..
and you can access cwm with the vol- button while booting.11
Another way to have recovery:
1. install ics beta as per first post
2. once boot the phone and put the ICS fix zip on sd and then power off.
3. now flash as fastboot: fastboot boot recoveryNeo.img (recoveryNeo.img attached below)
phone will rebooted in recovery (just care button behaviour--power button for select and vol for scrolling) so select the ics fix and apply. reboot
4. now plug the phone with usb and run CWM install ---attachment in first post
5. reboot in recovery as usual ---pressing vol down.
6. aplly gapps.1It requires build number 4.0.2.A.0.42, but can i use with older build number? for example like .283? Please give me the link to download .42 as well thanks
