Hi Folks,
I am new to android, bought the Note 3 today (4.3) from tmobile with ulimited data plan.
Upon combing trough google I found a couple of guides (and also this here: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2467193).
However I am not sure which one of them to use?
Root stock 4.3 and use free wifi tether / FoxIt? Flash the device with KitKat 4.4?
root and push CM11 on the phone? (though I don't know what the benefits of that is)
Are there any benefits of having KitKat compared to 4.3? do I need it right now?
is the de la vega root method still working without flagging the device that it has been rooted? (http://www.galaxynote3update.com/root-tmobile-galaxy-note-3-sm-n900t-no-knox-counter-trip/)
Which direction can you advise?
Do I have to back up the stock rom before I flash it with a custome one? If so, with titanium backup or something else? (or can I use stock roms from the internet?)
Thanks
