Strange I don't see any ads. Can you point exactly where you see ads in the app?

ads? in the gmail app?? ive never seen ads in it. are they interest based ads? ive opted out of those. in the google settings app, ads..

Figured it out........
Hit overflow menu, then press print, then save to PDF, then choose Drive. Too many steps, but that is how you get there.
