The texts in borders option in photo editor shows half of the effects as "none" and rest as "borders". Issue, I believe. Unfortunately am not with my laptop so can't raise an issue on bugtracker. Anyone have time and will to post this issue there (If it's an issue at all :/ )
Using the 20140113 build.

Hi,

Could anyone tell me where can I find the Release Candidate 3 build 201401xx - cm-10.2 version for mango ?
(seen here : https://github.com/LegacyXperia/local_manifests/wiki/Changelog)

In this directory, there are only release (Build 20131204) and nightlies :

http://legacyxperia.basketbuild.com/index.php?dir=main/mango/cm-10.2/

The Build 20131204 is OK but with nightlies, I have wifi problems.
I would like to update with the most recent RC if possible :)

Thanks a lot
It's not released yet

Introducing LegacyXperia center

3tP7tbb.png

Do you want an easy way to stay informed about LegacyXperia?
Do you want an easy way to report bugs and collect the needed logs?

LegacyXperia center is all that you need.

Alpha apk released here.

Please test the log collect option, I had some issues opening the final zip file on sdcard.

If everything works good, this is going to be included in all future LX builds.

Music stutters/crackles/pops/pauses/lags problem. On my NEO with 20140112 cm10.2 build.

Here is my solution, works for the past 30 minutes. :)
1. change read_ahead_kb back to 128. (minor, maybe placebo at the first place)
2. change cpu min freq to 368mhz or up. (I am using interactive, 1600mhz to 368 mhz)
3. change the IO scheduler to ROW. (may be the key)
4. quit some background app (e.g. setxperia in my case)

I am playing some music with apollo w/o dsp. No stutter or anything for the past 30 mins, screen on/off, VS it stuttered 1-2 times every few songs before the changes.

@cagali: I also had music skipping, thanks for this - will try them if I hear stutters again.
I though it is related to other things and couldn't figure out what.

Have been trying to figure out what it is, but I have also been quite unsuccessful. I know that Media Players like RocketPlayer Pro and PlayerPro (free trial on google play) play music without skips. On the second one I had to increase the sound buffer to "large". I thought this may be the issue on Apollo and increased the buffer manually but the skipping persisted, however on Apollo I had the feeling that the skipping got sharper depending on the buffer size.
I got rid of this headache altogether by donating my 3 Euros to the PlayerPro dev which has made a quite nice Media Player with a nice DSP manager. Maybe someone find out some more about this because I got this feeling that it is sort of an Apollo issue, more specific the way how it prioritizes/handles media playback.

Actually Apollo is just calling the standard com.android.media.mediaplayer api to play audio files, i.e. it does not has its own set of codec/buffer/etc for more controls.
I didn't trace the code further, but seems it is a pretty simple API and not much could be done. (Correct me if I am wrong.)

Players like neutron and mx player usually have their own codec/library. E.g. in mx player you could switch between hw/sw decoding.
Complaints over 4.3/4.4 media playback happens to many makers and even new models, we are not alone anyway. :)

I probably know where the problem is and unfortunately we can't do much about it. The problem lies probably in our audio HAL that is outdated, originally for android 4.2 but hacked to work on new versions. We can't update it properly if we don't get the ION kernel working. Keeping the current pmem kernel just brings us more and more problems and breaks more things.

Unfortunately there are not many people who are willing, have the knowledge or have the time to help fixing the new kernel, so it might take a long time until the display issues are fixed.

Performance Profiles

First of all thank you for these awsome rom´s.
Even with those minor bugs we have to live with, this little xperia runs better than any time before.

What I wanna know, ist there a way to edit theses cm-Performance profiles?
It would be handy to have my custom profiles instead of going all way down in the menu :D

Thanks so far !

Mike, boot.img file for mango is bigger that it used to be. Is that ok? I am not sure but I thought it had always the same size.

Edit: Installed, works. Downloaded with firefox.

If i flash the kernel and install the zip i will lose all my data? There isn't a metod that could allow me to update the ROM without losing data?
