I've just updated Magisk from 87 to 87.3. Should be visible in the app in few minutes. If topjohnwu doesn't release uninstallers I cannot add them in the app; it seems that Xposed can be uninstalled from the Magisk Manager only.

Android 7.0 or 7.1? What is the type of Xposed? Systemless or normal? Can you tell me what is written in logs tab?

Systemless and apparently system version as well
Sdk24
Nothing is getting logged and I mean nothing.

Here's a pic of the system version as well on a mate 9

This happens after 2 reboots when it's been active. 3rd reboot (system less) not too sure about when it this happen on the system version. But perm dirty fix is to downgrade apk sdk requirements.

So providing logs can't be done here

Try again from the 1st post. It works for me

You missed the whole point.. . That won't work if your phone is bootlooping :)

@DVDandroid,
I was hoping your new release would have previously released versions too in addition to the latest xposed-v87.3-sdk23-topjohnwu.zip which is causing bootloops for very many people based on posts over there. I would suggest people not install that version with doing some research first or you may end up with a bootlooping phone.

For people who do install topjohnwu's Xposed Framework and get into a bootloop, here's a solution that has worked for others:
https://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=73700085&postcount=4251

You have to have Magisk Mount downloaded ahead of time to be prepared.

I'm personally using xposed-v87.1-sdk23-topjohnwu.zip and have seen many posts from those who tried newer versions and then got bootloops.
Oh I did

But

Here's two unofficial Uninstallers

Sdk 25 https://mega.nz/#!gHI2hDgK!YuBrg89YNFV6gv3Dph32ON_kprLyc1t22qTY256vxfE

Sdk 24 https://mega.nz/#!sSpzSYbY!J3MbDlUJq7RKIazChHaxXHLS2mSZ0D2KoFM7QwF8kAE

These are based on the installer zip itself so ill have to fix a better one if it won't be done yet.

I use 87.3 for sdk23 without problems, it's just 87.2 that causes a bootloop for me.
So some roms seem to have issues with files created in root-folder ("/") also.

When Magisk 14 came out, I started fresh. Did a factory reset, and even wiped /system. Flashed Magisk and installed Xposed 87.3 SDK22. I am on Android 5.1. Installed dvdandroid's Material Design Xposed Installer and showed "not installed". I cannot enable or disable modules. That's odd. Good thing I have a backup of Xposed Installer in Titanium Backup. So the modules became enabled, but still, I cannot disable them if I want to. I restarted my phone and the modules began working. That means that Xposed is really working.

I'm fine with that. Until I needed to install a new module. I cannot enable it. I dont have a backup of Xposed Installer that has it enabled, cause I didn't have that module before. What to I do?

Using Asus Zenfone Go ZC500TG on Android 5.1. Magisk 14, Xposed Framework 87.3 SDK22.

Yes, same issue on OP3 with CM13 using Magisk 14.0 and xposed sdk23 0.87.3
I just stumbled into Xposed installer and saw that it claims, xposed was not installed.
Now here's the thing: it is installed and it works. All my enabled xposed-modules are working. Also I know for a fact, that installer recognized my current installation just after I upgraded to Magisk 14. Now it doesn't, even though nothing in my setup changed and even though xposed is clearly up and running (again: all modules work).

When Magisk 14 came out, I started fresh. Did a factory reset, and even wiped /system. Flashed Magisk and installed Xposed 87.3 SDK22. I am on Android 5.1. Using Asus Zenfone Go ZC500TG on Android 5.1. Magisk 14, Xposed Framework 87.3 SDK22.
Confirmed. Sounds exactly like the issue I just described.

As you know, rovo89 has released version 3.1 of his Xposed Installer. It's based on my fork, so it contains the improvements that I and @-BioHaZard- added in this version of the installer.

However, you cannot find some features: color picker, installation module with root, and other unofficial stuffs are been removed; features like bookmark manager, download module button are been hidden and these features can come back in future.

This version is marked as UNOFFICIAL now and it will be maintained.

Thanks to all who downloaded this app! :good:

    Source code available here

    ----

Why this version is still maintained? Why are there different APKs that do the same things?
    - Since Xposed Installer app is open source, I think that anyone could make an own version and customize it as you want, like Telegram app. I want to keep updated my app also for a personal satisfaction.
    - There aren't different APKs that do the same things.
rovo89 developed the original Xposed installer. DVDandroid then took his original installer and materialized it and added a ton of new features because rovo89 didn't have the time or just didn't want to work on the installer. Once rovo89 took notice of DVDandroid's materialized installer, he cherry-picked various features and theming and re-incorporated them back into the original Xposed installer. rovo89 credited DVDandroid with the work he had done, but they are not necessarily working together as a team in the traditional sense.

The two versions of the Xposed installer are developed by two different people and provide a different set of features. One is not necessarily better than the other, they are just different and intended for two different audiences.

If you really want the two apps to merge and become one, you really should be posting and talking to rovo89, because he is the only one that has the power to do that.

Here some differences between this and official(s) Xposed Installer:
