Hi guys

On the official site & everywhere we saw that the OPPO Find7a was a Snapdragon 801 but for some benchmark applications it's "just" a Snapdragon 800 :( Don't worries about that,

because after some research, we can confirm This is a Snapdragon 801 !

See the attachment

Antutu App show Snapdragon 800
Cpu-Z App show Snapdragon 801

Qualcomm labels the Xperia Z2's, Find 7a's and HTC One M8's MSM8974AB chipset clocked at 2.3GHz as Snapdragon 801, so there is no error on that spec sheet.

What is going on here? I'll be sending it back if it's been falsely advertised.

Please someone confirm it's not the case!

If it is MSM8974AB so it's a 801, but we can't see here... Maybe the Benchmark application don't show this detail...So If it's that I Think there is no error...This is a snapdragon 801

Can someone Try with CPU-Z ? Maybe more details & informations...

I'have edited the title thread for no confusion & to no affirm something fake... It's now a interrogation...Sorry for inconvenience.

Confirm what? Sorry I don't have the device, I just said Qualcomm nowadays calls the 8974AB Snapdragon 801.

If you can get a GPU, memory or ISP clock, it might help accurately identifying the SoC, but GSMArena review says its the 801.

Yes it's true. Here they are some screens from the Xperia Z2 with processor details with CPU-Z application

We can see the app show's Snapdragon 801. So if someone can test with CPU-Z to see results...

These 3rd party apps are not always accurate, it says MSM8974 for the Xperia Z2 whet it has the MSM8974AB. I think they read these information from the app database based on device ID not from the actual device. Whether it's the 800 or 801, clocks will decide. Reviews and spec sheet say 801.

No need for me to post another screenshot of CPU-Z. Everyone else here using CPU-Z all show Snapdragon 801 MSM8974, same as what is showing on my screen.
