My experience with this ROM:

Animations are smoother,
Sense is smoother
It feels a bit faster than the 1.28 rom i had.
GPS was very fast locked. id say, max 10 seconds...
no problem with 3G... but that could also be the region I am currently at.
overall experience: better than my previous ROM i used, 1.28

But, there is small graphic error :p If you choose skin: MusicLover and you play music and use the Lockscreen widget, you see the "previous" button in grey, while the other 2 are blue... :)

weird :)

before approx 2050,

now: quadrant advanced 2113; quadrant standard 2070

so, overall, no major changes!:(

ps: 2nd q adv: 2203;
3 d q adv: 2262

can u check linpack and cf-bench ? no use of quadrant anyway ... doesnt support dual cores, different resolution ... and u can see the "real" performance with advenced (as u can see see seperated the cpu, 2d, 3d, io score). on my prev phone -desire- was also able to manage 3k-ish scores ... (just because of high io > data2sd roms). so test linpack (multi-thread > need to run several times for average!) and cf-bench pls :)

on linpack : usually get 95-110 mflops (dont coun't when u have "insonsistent result") // single thread : fix 45 mflops

You shouldn't be able to flash an older ruu because it checks for the version number.
Thanks for the benchmarks guys!

cf bench free version - those last three numbers - 9115 (native score), 2724 (java score), 5280 (overall score)...

gps sat fix is waaay faster than before...

This does not make me excited to switch to this phone... I have G2x right now and just scored 14000, 3263, 7557

That's OC'd to 1.5

At 1.1 I get 10500, 2864, 5680

T-Mobile really needs to make LG fix the G2x *sigh*

just 2 let you know : on the 1st score (native) lots of resolution dependent tests .... u know 800x480 (384k) vs 960x540 (518.4k) .... (+35% more pixel to render ...)

always forget this in those tests :D

That makes sense. I forgot about that. I guess it actually has the possibility of out-performing the G2x overall then, particularly when we remove Sense.

Hopefully I get a Sensation with none of the major issues that have been reported.

I installed 1.35.401.1 update yesterday (had 1.28.401.1 before).
I had some issues with 1.28.401.1:
Battery status information didn't seem to update and sometimes showed strange battery levels. Charging the battery took very long.
Had lag on homescreen when using live wallpaper
Had the touchscreen unlocking problem for one day, but it fixed itself.

My thoughts about the new 1.35.401.1:
Battery status information seems to show more realistic values. Lets see what happens when i charge it...
I can't see any lag with live wallpaper
Touchscreen seems more responsive, it seems to be easier to get the carousel effect.
Website scrolling also seems to be faster.
Battery seems to last a little longer. When i installed the update, i had about 80% battery. My phone has been on for 17hrs now, with 2hrs display on, WIFI and Sync on (Gmail, Weather, Facebook for Sense) and i have 35% still left.

No problems so far, so this update seems to be a improvement.

If you guys are not sure if you are able to install the Europe ROM or not, follow these steps.

    1. Install terminal emulator (get it from the android market) and run it
    2. Type the following command: getprop ro.cid
    3. You will get an output, e.g. mine was HTC__001 yours may be different
    4. Compare it to the list deho has kindly provided
    5. If your output is on the list deho provided, this ROM is for you :) otherwise, it isn't. There are two other ROMs for different carriers so you may be compatible with one of those.

If you are still not sure, there is still no harm in trying to update. If your CIDs do not match, it will just not let you update, and no changes will be done to your HTC Sensation.

When you set password in lockscreen, and run camera in lockscreen, you won't see any bottons..1.28.707.2 has this issue, how about 1.35.401.1?:)
On 1.34.415.1 there is no problem. Buttons are there.
