LG V30 Camera APK download!

I've extracted the V30 camera app as it is one of the best out there and uploaded it for all of you lovely folks.

It is supposed to work on LG G5?

I tried to install the camera app but it doesn't work, it says initializing... And crash.

Weird. What phone are you using? And android version details?

Usually when installing an APK file it just asks if you want to install it, then goes and does so. I don't know where it would say 'initializing' in the installer.

Is when its already installed.
Maybe the problem is that I changed the name of the package of the APK because it causes conflicts with the original camera App.

I have an LG G5 H850 running on android 7.0

Try changing the package name of the original camera and redownload this one. You can always rename the old one back to what it is now if it still doesn't work. I'm on a G4 running 7.0 but the V30 skin. (I know the V30 launched with 7.1.2, but there you go.)

Just make sure you remember the original package name!

I ported V30 camera app to have it working on G4 (in my H-ROM). This required hard work and a lot of hours spent on it.

Now you simply have picked up from my rom zip and put here.... I mean that at least you could have put credits to me since camera app was modded by me.

@Astrako Sorry, was very new to XDA then and didn't think. Doesn't work here anyway so I'm gonna edit the original post.

Figured it out

I dont know if anyone has done this yet but all I did was take the stock camera app in /system/priv-app/LGcamera and copied it somewhere else fas a backup and deleted the original one and replaced it with the v30 camera apk and changed the permissions, then reboot. Works great!

Now it for real works!!

Ok so after doing what i said to get it to work the first time, go back and try to install it again, it Shouldnt conflict with package names because youve already replaced files, after installing it it works perfect now. I wont what other apps can be updated this way lol

I can't find /system/priv-app/LGcamera. Also I can't seem to find camera package name in android/data. I use LG G4 android 7.0. Can you help?
