Hello all.

So, I just tried flashing PhilZ touch from http://goo.im/devs/philz_touch/CWM_Advanced_Edition/jfltevzw using https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.mkrtchyan.recoverytools this app. I did the whole "select other recovery" and chose the recovery.img file from the PhilZ touch zip I downloaded. When I try rebooting my phone I get "System software not authorized blah blah.. Go to nearest VZW store for help. At the top in red it says "Secure fail: kernel"

I was running on 4.2.2 on cleanrom 1.6 (I haven't done any modding with my phone in well over half a year...). Phone is on MDK. Previously to this I was running on some version of CWM, not sure which.

I'm not sure what went wrong at all. Was it the apps fault? This is what I get for being lazy and not odin'ing the custom recovery T__T. My guess is it wasn't loki'd but I was under the impression that the new philz recoveries would be auto loki'd

How can I go about fixing this mess?

Thanks for your quick reply.

How do I reboot into system? I can't turn my phone on cuz I get stuck with that message. Can I odin twrp to fix it? And where can I find a .tar.md5 of twrp? The only file types available on the twrp site are .img

edit4: ok this is pretty annoying of me sorry. I don't know what happened but i was able to boot into my rom so I installed twrp from gooim manager from there and everythings fine now I guess. The only difference i noticed is that there's an unlocked padlock icon every time i boot up my phone now.. o_O is that normal? Thanks again for your help surge
