[Q] Digitizer broke

Hey guys, the digitizer on my phone is now broken. And i am wondering if it is possible to disable the lockscreen using ADB and then using the trackball to do the necessary navigation (backing up whatsapp and so on).

Oh and I am currently running on stock ROM

That depends on if you are rooted. If you have clockworkmod recovery I think you can make a recovery script that will delete the lock screen app, no app no lock screen

It is currently on complete stock, no root and stock recovery, also it is S-On.

Without s-off your pretty much stuck. Even if you have USB debugging enabled without root you cannot edit system apps and this model of phone doesnt support the likes of USB otg. Sorry bud.

With that said you can replace the digitizer for around £5 from eBay if you feel confident to fit it. Even install it long enough to copy off your data. I did my phone a little while ago and it wasn't so tough
