Read the first three posts, and if you still don't get it there are youtube videos.

Thanks for the reply.

I read the first three posts. There is no information about the steps. youtube videos are for HTC Wildfire and not HTC One S

also, there is no information what the buttons are meant for.

I am not here to point out things but better to be safe than sorry.

The videos are on the wildfire, but they work with any version of the toolkit, basically. The toolkit is simple.

Just used the tool on HTC ONE S (S4) and it worked great. A little bit confused on the perm root that was needed to be done, cause I thought that after installing the custom bootloader I was done.

Anyway, it's a new phone and I'm currently on Stock ROM 4.0.4. Can I update to the new 4.1.1? Should I do something before updating? Would appreciate some pointers on this.

You don't need to root unless you wanted to root the stock rom. You should be good for any Sense rom but you will want to update the firmware to JB so you can flash AOSP's roms.

thanks again for all your help.

I've rooted the phone because I needed it to get the sim unlock code. Should I unroot it before applying the update or can I go ahead and update, and then re-root again?

Isn't updating the firmware part of the stock rom update?

No need to unroot just flash a rom and easy way to update firmware is here.

I'm on 2.14. In order to get the new firmware, can I RUU back to my original stock ICS and then do the T-Mob ota to JB. That will give me 3.4, ya?

Sent from my HTC One S using xda app-developers app

If you already did the stock update to JB, then no. You will have to RUU to the jellybean one. It's easy to find, or I also have it in my dropbox if you want a link.

    Post 1 - Information
Post 2 - Downloads and Release / Change Information
Post 3 - Bugs, Future Additions to the GUI, FAQ

I would like to add for those that like my toolkit, PLEASE DO NOT POST IT ELSEWHERE WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!

I have seen multiple sites who copy and paste my work to their site! If I do not approve of it, then do not do it! it will discourage me from adding updates since it is being used for their own benefits!

    tl;dr.

If you post my work without permission, don't expect updates!

I created an easy to use GUI program for the HTC Amaze and I decided to make one for the HTC One S. I spent a good over 10+ hours to learn how to script, watch videos on how to do it, working on it during school when I should have been listening lol and all that fun stuff. I am going to fix it and up and add more updates to it. You CAN place requests and I will try to fulfill it!

If this helped you out, Please press the thanks button and if you want, you can always donate!

    Bugs
    - Directory has to have one word.
    Ex:

Will Work. This will solve any issues if the buttons don't work when you press them.

    C:\Users\John\Dropbox\Phones\Amaze_All-In-One_Kit_V2.4

    C:\Users\John_Smith\Dropbox\Phones\Amaze_All-In-One_Kit_V2.4

Will NOT work. Your directory will look something like this and buttons won't work when you press it.

    C:\Users\John Smith\Dropbox\Phones\Amaze_All-In-One_Kit_V2.4

If you have 2 words, put the folder in Drive C:

Ex. This will solve any issues if the buttons don't work when you press them.

    C:\Amaze_All-In-One_Kit_V2.4

Looking to add in the future
    - Kernels
    - More recoveries
