I can't restore the calendar appointments from my previous OS to the new.
This calendar works with Google account and not on the phone only?
If you are using BaNkS' gapps, you need to install AOSP Calendar Sync package on top of Core/Standard package to properly sync Google Calendar.

This might be a stupid ? But I'm gonna ask anyways. When flashing update via goomanager, how do u tell the differences vs previous versions? Things look the same, so I don't know what to look for,lol

You can see version info under About phone in settings. Builds are versioned by YYYYMMDD formatting (Y=year, M=month, D=day).

I know. I see that in my settings. So I know that it was properly updated. But what I mean is, how do I notice the diffs... Like performance, new apps etc etc

Does anyone know how to properly operate flashplayer in the browser?

It's not supported on the stock browser. The latest version of Dolphin browser from the play store supports flash player. There is an XDA thread about getting flash player working on KitKat. You can also search this thread, some time around the start of this month I think. Sorry but I'm using the XDA app at the minute or I would have searched and linked it for you.

Not all changes are visible. The best choice to follow the changes it to browse CM's gerrit: http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/q/status:merged+branch:cm-11.0,n,z

That doesn't include my own repos though.

what about the src error? like i said i never get a full build
I have that too. It's probably just a check for something that isn't there and something works differently because of that. You are not giving me much information to help you. You could explain step-by-step what you have done and maybe even include a full build log. Neither of your mentioned prints are fatal in nature.

I started using this rom since 2013 Dec, and i have some problems.
Worst wi-fi signal.
GSM maybe little better.
After restart most of shortcuts disappears.
I can't restore the calendar appointments from my previous OS to the new.
This calendar works with Google account and not on the phone only?
Thanks.

I started to use this rom for 3 weeks but there is a few problem that I noticed. I want to add some problems.

-same problems with katoss99's
-Can't find how to take screenshot. (power button+home is not working)
-Camera don't focus automatically. Plus, I can't find how to zoom in or out
-The phone screen is not shutting down while talking. I think, sensor is not active. After talking, i see that a few application had been opened.

-If screen shot doesn't work with the volume button then try enabling it on the power menu. I can't tell you if it does my vol down hasn't worked well in a long time . I know it works enabled in power menu though.
-Camera touch to focus is hit or miss if I remember right. Some nightlies have it, others don't. Fix one thing, another breaks, half the fun of using a nightly :p
-Somewhere in this thread if you search there will be multiple references to a proximity fix which should fix that problem, it does for most people anyway.

Proximity Recalibrator

So, I was hit by sudden inspiration to rework leppie's proximity recalibrator app to be a bit more up to the UI standards these days. While I was at it I refactored most of the code to be more readable, fixed some misc things etc. etc. and of course probably broke something so dead unicorns ahead once again. I will include this tool in the next nightly build as I see it as an extension to device settings so it's kind of natural part of the rom. If you want to hate me for adding 18kb of useless software you don't use, you are free to do so. I love you too.

I removed the old-looking zoom in/out widgets and just limited the seekbars between values 0 and 50. I haven't heard anyone going above 50 so max value 255 is a bit overkill. This way seekbar is actually usable.

Feedback is welcome as always.

Touch to focus has been working for a while now, for auto focus to work you have to go into the camera settings and make sure focus mode is set to auto. The camera is pinch to zoom.

Didn't think to check profile, XDA app doesn't show signature if it is present there in browser.

Users on older radios will have Wi-Fi and GPS issues on Android 4.1 or newer.
look, not my phones problem :) we are under some kind of sanctions, we can't turn our wifi on since 4.1, there was an app which could fix it, but it doesn't work on kitkat, randomplay already implented a fix in his rom, but I'd love to try this rom as well :) I hope the developer to do a favor to us to and include the fix :)

I didn't use to follow your roms, but I like them :) just decided to flash it to see the performance :)
I flashed the 20140126 nightly, the region issue isn't fixed. I'm sure you haven't experienced it, the rom gets damn slow, and WiFi doesn't even show any network to connect :)

thanks for your efforts.

Are you S-ON? -> Have you flashed boot.img separately?
Have you tried that wifix tool?

If you have done both, logs (logcat+dmesg) are needed or I won't be able to do anything as I can't reproduce your issue.

Did you try to change the Wifi region in Wifi advanced settings?

nope, no other problem exists :) WiFi works with every other rom, and the Wifix tool doesn't work since 4.4

and I don't have acces to any computer for a few month to creat logcat or mseg :) sorry to bother you. maybe you could ask randomblame what he has done. or just forget it, it seems I'm the only one here with this situation. thanks again

    General:
These are UNOFFICIAL CM11.0 Kitkat Nightlies / Releases brought to you by Open Desire Project and TeamCodefire as a continuum to CM10 and 10.1 nightlies. Builds are generated automatically on every first Saturday of the month. Process starts around 10:30 PDT. If it fails, then there will be no build until the reason for failure is taken care of which can take time. Last 7 nightlies will be kept on the server. If you want a longer history of them, you are free to archive them yourself.

    FAQ:
Q: I tried to flash the ROM and got this:
    Code:
    Installing update...
    set_metadata_recursive: some changes failed
    E:Error in /sdcard/..path od ROM.zip
    (Status 7)
    Installation aborted.
A: Update your recovery to one that is compatible with new recovery functions. See the list below.

Q: I've used HTC Dev unlock and flashed the rom but it won't boot. What should I do?
A: You need to extract boot.img from the zip and flash it via fastboot. If you don't have fastboot executable anymore from flashing recovery, install Android SDK platform tools (Linux users should find it from distro's package management) and then reboot to bootloader, open command prompt and navigate to the location you extracted your boot.img and type:

    Code:
    fastboot flash boot boot.img

You need to repeat this everytime you flash new version of this rom to ensure everything will work fluently as long as you have just basic HTC Dev unlock.

Q: Where are my developer and performance options?
    A: http://goo.gl/jpS8r

Q: Feature X doesn't work, let's make 1000 posts about it to annoy everyone.
A: Please, dont. Use search and then use search again and only then report your problem with necessary logs. [Logcat guide, thanks to MusikMonk for the link]

Q: I hate you for not fixing this issue X!!!
    A: I love you too.

    Q: How I can build CM11.0 myself?
A: Setup a basic Android build environment.
    Code:
    mkdir cm11
    cd cm11/
    repo init -u git://github.com/CyanogenMod/android.git -b cm-11.0
    mkdir -p .repo/local_manifests
    wget https://github.com/OpenDesireProject/android/raw/cm-11.0/local_manifest.xml -O .repo/local_manifests/cm_ace.xml
    repo sync
    cd vendor/cm/
    ./get-prebuilts
    cd ../../
    . build/envsetup.sh
    lunch cm_ace-userdebug
    mka bacon
Once the build finishes you'll find your goods from out/target/product/ace/ directory.

Q: Something about something something something.
A: Ask the guy/gal next to you.

Turns out camcorder is working now. I rebuilt qcom-media and video playing and recording works. I spent a lot of time trying to get it to work with ION and trying to add back other PMEM memory but finally I got the right one :p
