did you definitely run up the new email program this installs?

you have the HTC "Mail" program by default, this get the Android "Email" one.. (plus gmail too).

You need to configure the syncing in this, and disabling the HTC one preferably.

Similar issue here but i have a feeling due to a differnt reason. Have checked the exchange settings for company e-mail etc however is still refusing the connection so can't get it connected in the first place. Aare there any security settings which make android incompatibale??

your IT staff might have activesync set to not accept unknown devices.. (thinks its termed provisioned... will check tomorrow).

they can create a policy to allow you in.

I assume webmail at your company comes up fine?

yeah have found it now they ban all android devices as they can't force device encryption. Rather annoying but webmail from the phone works fine so i'll just use that for now unless anyone knows a workaround.

OMG... all of the issues with Exchange 2010 are now fixed. The update released today (1.32.405.6) has made my life so much better. I'm now the happiest person on earth. I can finally use this phone fully.

Without removing/readding: issues still exist
With removing/readding: Fixed

exchange 2010sp1

ActiveSync version: 12.1

Looks like they reverted to exchange 2007; without removing the settings you still connect with the ASE 14 protocol

I got a mail from HTC the netherlands last week that i had to contact their support and ask for a specific person about this issue, too bad he never returned my call when i called them and left my phonenumber behind.
Oh well issue is "fixed" untill microsoft decides to drop exchange 2007 support.

Solved for me as well

Great!!! Working for me as well after resync! Don't understand that such tings are not mentioned in the "release notes".

I started to test Google Apps but comparing to Exchange... will stay with Exchange for a while.

The issue was fixed in the second OTA update from HTC without any announcement in the release notes. I was required to delete the ActiveSync account on the phone and to sync again. I am sure you will get the same update in the future. I searched a lot over Google about this topic but I did not find any viable solution. I fear you have to wait.

Not fixed for me yet. This may be a different issue, but I can't even setup my hotmail account as Exchange. Logcat produces the following:

Factory reset phone, and added account again....still calendar will not sync, but will sync on touchdown.

Hopefully android 2.3 will have a fix.
