You are right. That taught me some stuff. So a user asks a question which was already asked 7 pages ago and answered. I answer saying that the question was answered by pointing out the answer. Then the user doesnt thank me, but apoligize to me in a separate post. And the apology post gets "thanks". So clearly my post is not useful at all. Do I am sorry. I would refrain of posting such posts in future. I think I have been using this forum wrong all the time. Next time I will be the one apologizing
:victory:
Good night.
Keep safe.
P.S. Not to mention that the actual XDA rules by MikeChannon are not getting followed either: first rule - users post without searching on most threads I watch (hmm, sorry -
all threads I watch); second rule - harsh language is used, flaming is present and also personal attacks (I have been a victim of it for looong time in XDA because of either my answers (I dont answer same questions with same amount of love if I already answered it on previous page or same page) or my country of origin (which I changed to get away from such attacks)); third rule - to each and every bug report in threads I have to write an additional post asking about details (because reports are just - "this is not working" even though "this" works on my device), and when those details are not met and I dont answer the user, (because I have no info to build my answer on) then the user breaks also the fifth rule - by reposting same report without info and lowering the prestige of thread (having many "not working" posts repels users); fourth rule - I get to see at least 5 non-english posts in weekly basis... and so on... Most reports about harsh language and reposts are dismissed and reporting posts done without searching would take about 2-3 hours per day only (and I am sure that much posts cannot be either edited or removed). Same is about posts without info too. It is possible to dismiss them or add the users to ignore list (which in my case piles up too high), but that still doesnt solve the fact that there are that many posts saying "this, that, those and these doesnt work" in thread.
Yes, that rule that I said might not be in rules listed by MikeChannon, but would have saved so much time and posts if users would at least read last 10-20 pages before or after thoroughly searching
(probably using correct keywords are hard for non-english speakers, thus reading last pages could give so much info before or after thorough search with bad keywords too).
I know this is not the correct place for this post. Just wanted it to be out. I suppose it will be be removed before being read by anybody (I do not
suppose : it
will be removed), but that is just one burden I removed from my shoulder before sleeping.
Cheers
