Doesn't work on rooted Xperia P ICS with stock ROM :(

Installation went fine but when pressing "Reboot to recovery" via X-parts the phone just reboots and stay on blank (black) screen. There was no blue LED or vibration or enything; just blank screen.

Mr.Krypton, in attach you can find a CWM that boots in recovery for Xperia P but in this CWM we can't mount system :( Also I attach mount output from terminal if you needed. If you can make a workable CWM for us we will be extremely grateful!

I will test whatever version you produce...

Thank you very, very much in advance!

This is touch based recovery, try if u can go into recovery by touching the SONY logo x3 or more times when booting ? and report back to me ? :D

Unfortunately there is no SONY logo in Xperia P ICS, build 544, so I can not boot in to the recovery like that :( Any other way :) ? I try by pressing volume down or volume up but no luck..

If there is no other way, can you please mod the CWM I attach? We are waiting for so long for a working CWM :( ...

Thank you very much in advance!

hmmm strange !! There should be a S1 boot in every phone ?... When you switch on the phone ? Don't you have a logo appearing ?

and I'm not that kind of tech geek :( :crying: but I try my best ! if I have a xperia P I could test it

No really :) there is no SONY logo when you power on the Xperia P ICS. First what i see is bootanimation.

I thought that is something with me but other user reports too there is no SONY logo http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1887670 with instructions to use X-parts to boot in recovery: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1888414

I hope that this will not be the block point?

A huge numbers of points like:

- install ROM-s with stock kernel
- fixing permissions
- wiping cashe, dalvik cashe...

Now if I want to install some custom ROM, on my Xperia P, I have to copy one file by one into the right directory and change permissions on all of them taking into account the hierarchy cause I can finish in boot loop if not respecting that...

So I can't wait :) for Mr.Krypton :good: to make a CWM for Xperia P !
