No prob, I have made another Tutorial on the Q&A forum WITH the safety measures AND the proper files (I can't thank Demkantor much more). I can give you the files with mail hopefully, just look under my account and my tut, just download them and replace them
(Give me some credit, i am new), but you inspired me :) PS the radio file is a switch file from the EzTerry post but it does work and I said you need the DangerSPL

Please stop posting references to your "guide" to flash radio / spl by recovery! It's completely useless, in contrary it's dangerous for people who do not know the basics and may lead to a brick. The original postings from ezterry explain everything how to flash radio and/or spl. Use fastboot and everything will work fine.

It worked fine for me and demkantor said it would work fine and 6000 people downloaded this and did this so what the $&@# is you problem, it is their choice not mine and it is a good way if you dont have a computer on you..... I actually prefer fastboot for other people but not for me and other people, so stop getting on everybody's nerves!!!

Like I said, and I posted it on my thread, it's THEIR choice. Man, I hope XDA-developers won't turn in a dictatorship :)

That's not quite true, but you need to know what to flash and also the sequence of flashing radio / hboot / etc. is important. If you do not follow the instructions bricks are quite common.

Nevertheless using fastboot for changing radio / hboot is more save on the G1 as it minimizes the brick possibilities.

    Hello habitat22,
Before doing your amazing guide, I have some questions :
    - is it possible to come back in the old radio and spl after the upgrade?
    - is the 1.33.0013d compatible with all the cooked rom?
    - and a noob question : what's the benefit of these new radio and spl?

Thank you for your time, i am ready to flash, just wait for your answer!

Ok thank you for the link.
For now, my COS-DS is running well enough, I do not have the use of 14Mo Ram free. Maybe later.

    Thanks for your responses

it will run better if you have 2708 :D

it won't run at all if the chamber was full and your phone gets bricked

at least read though Ezterry's post before flashing the zips here
fastboot is not all that complicated and is much safer
